Loved this physical therapy place, and I’m very critical of PT as an OT :) I had Andy and Kristin as my therapists and they both did a really good job. One thing I liked the most is that the treating therapists are actual therapists with actual BS degrees and higher in their field and not assistants or aids. Oftentimes there are more complex underlying issues that create a symptom and these guys do a really good job addressing those issues every single visit, not just for the evaluation. That doesn’t happen in other places — this practice is therapy gold, and Duvall is very lucky to have it. The only reason I gave it a minus one star has nothing to do with the therapists or the treatment. It is that parking is really bad, and if you are going in with a foot, ankle, leg, or knee injury, there are days and times when it is very difficult to find a parking spot. There’s really not even a handicapped parking spot in the area. Hoping they look at that soon, otherwise, great service and treatment!

Mary Beth and Becky are both excellent PTs. They do a good combination of massage/myofac release, exercises, and expert level troubleshooting until the right solution is found. I’ve had work done on a shoulder injury(bone bruise) as well as running gait/shin pain work following stress fractures.

Mary Beth is a fantastic problem solver and works to pinpoint the underlying cause of the injury. She helps me with various injuries that occur during triathlon training and has been my go-to PT for the past 5 years. Being a triathlete herself, she understands the balance between training and injury recovery. I am generally able to stay on track with my training programs because she tends to use therapy methods that allow me to keep training. Mary Beth designed custom orthotics that helped me get rid of the shin splints that used to plague me every time I started running.

I highly recommend Mary Beth Ackerman at the Duvall branch of Physiocare. These are the best Physical Therapists in the region, highly committed to their patients, determined to find solutions to people’s physical ailments, and in my case, successful in the outcome. Bret Swigard at PhysioCare has helped me tremendously! In fact the whole team there made a huge difference in my recovery. They all became a part of our family. Bret turned someone who needed a walker and occasionally a wheel chair when she«walked» in, into someone who can run(trot) across the room. Pretty amazing when that wasn’t something any doctor at one time, thought I’d be able to do. Not only did Bret take me through the steps it took to get me to where I am today, he kept my spirits up and kept me inspired to continue on. Sort of like he was my cheerleader along a very difficult journey. He kept pointing out how far I had come. In fact, my progress with Bret at PhysioCare, was my only hope at times. If I could make the progress that I did with him, then maybe progress could happen elsewhere. It kept me going. He also taught me how to take what he was teaching me and apply it to every move I made outside of PhysioCare. I learned how to carry the moves into my everyday life. And how to do those moves in ways that didn’t hurt and that increased my ability to do even more. Plus, I got strong! Muscles that never saw the light of day got woken up and made a part of the team. Moves that seemed hopeless to me even before I landed in a walker are attainable now. Long story short, I got strong, educated, inspired, hopeful, and a functioning body that is beyond what I, and many, thought possible. Plus, the desire to continue it all on has been instilled in me. I never thought I’d actually«want» to work out. Pretty odd but, a pretty valuable attitude to have. Bret Swigard and the team at PhysioCare, Duvall AND Woodinville, Thank You!
