Foodie’s Market

Edit– 5−11−15: both my parents got food poisoning within minutes from eating chicken salad and potato salad from here :(

I live 15 min away a town over but occasionally will come to foodies. It’s a great place to pick up some items you can’t find at chain grocery stores. I love how they sell Jessica’s brick oven bread and I always get a loaf when I’m here. It’s delicious and id highly recommend it. Their bakery looks good but I haven’t tried anything from it yet. I wish they carried more than one flavor of Simpson Spring Soda, however. Nice smaller produce section with the essentials and good quality although a bit overpriced. In my experiences here people aren’t too friendly, shoppers and cashiers so I try to be as quick as I can when shopping.
Overall I’d definitely check out Foodies mainly for some hard to find (local) items and everyday essentials when you need them.

Foodie’s is the only supermarket in Duxbury, so of course it’s going to be expensive. That being said, their deli counter has the most slammin’ sandwiches and prepared foods that I’ve ever seen in a market! The sandwiches are soo good, I love the Turkey BBQ sandwich and the Veggie Hummus Wrap. and my boyfriend raves about the Ruben Panini. The Orzo Salad is always delicious as well as the Cranberry Walnut Chix Salad. heck even the fried chicken looks yummy! They also have a great selection of cheeses, plus the best Buffalo Chicken Dip I’ve ever tasted. I wouldn’t do my weekly shopping here, but it’s a great place to grab stuff from the deli or a few quick things. The staff is super friendly and I guess the only complaint I have is the price point, which is definitely higher than Stop and Shop or Hannafords the next town over.

Short ribs to die for! I have tried most of their prepared take out offerings and have found them to be way above average. Great place to pick up dinner on the run. Good wine and cheese selection at reasonable prices.
