It’s been a year since getting the laser hair removal treatment from Keep It Young. All my hair came back as if I’d never gotten the laser treatment. Very disappointing and it makes me angry that I spent time, energy and money at this place!

Kind of a hike from Chicago, but totally worth it for a bikini sugar(yes I’m kind of a hippie). The first appointment was excruciating, since I’d given up waxing after one too many ingrowns. In fact I left Val’s with some bruises! But no ingrowns, and 2 subsequent treatments have been much more comfortable. I plan to stay a regular… Very affordable, efficient treatments with a pleasant professional. Plus free parking! Caveats: Don’t expect to reach Val when you call(I haven’t), but she returns voicemails promptly. Also note that the address has changed and check her website for the new one on Sheffield. And plan ahead… Her next available appointment is usually about a week off, in my experience.

I’m happy to have fallen upon Keep It Young. I have been very happy with the services that have been provided me there. Val is super friendly and professional and has been kind enough to honor my continued services at the prices I originally paid. I will gladly continue to patronize her business. Incidentally, when it comes to Groupon, most, if not all business, will honor the prices that Groupon advertises when purchased directly from the business itself. I find I prefer to go this route rather than go through Groupon.

Purchased a Groupon for Laser Hair Removal in August. Called repeatedly in September, October, and November. Left messages every time. The voicemail suggested that if you can’t get through on the phone to please send an email with appointment requests. I did that as well in October and November. Between voicemail and email I contacted this company THIRTEEN times. Finally I contacted Groupon requesting my money back. They wanted to get in contact with the owner and see what was going on. Yesterday I received a call from someone from Keep It Young. She said that she’s never received any of my messages/emails and wanted to know, «What I want from her.» Um … how about you return a message? I don’t quite get how you run a business without making appointments? Needless to say, I don’t want this irresponsible of a person anywhere near my face with a laser.
