Cottages at Chesley Creek

We’ve visited Chesley Creek Farm twice and will continue to return year after year.
If you are looking for seclusion, nature, and a personal touch without sleeping in a tent this is the place for you. The cottages (there are 4 to choose from) are well appointed with everything you need and lack exactly what you don’t need in a place like this (phone, tv, or internet). The cottages are in Dyke, VA about 20 minutes from Skyline Drive so it’s very easy access for hiking. It’s about 45 minutes to Charlottesville where you can shop for groceries, go to dinner, or just hang out if you need to reconnect with the city.
The cabins have jacuzzi’s, full kitchens, grills, backyards with fire pits, indoor fireplaces and board games. They also have a salt water pool in the main house that you can use (and I recommend after a hike!).
Personal touches make this place what it is: they’ve thought of everything. We also loved the fresh cookies that were dropped off at our house and Chuck and Stew always write us personal notes to welcome us to the house.
Looking for privacy? The cabins are secluded and you enter them via a keypad on the door so you don’t have to check in or out… just come and go as you wish.
I highly recommend this place! And will be back in the fall.
