Applebee’s

We were seated at 8:50pm, our first drink order wasn’t taken until 9:00. Our food order was taken at about 9:10 and food didn’t arrive until 9:55pm.
Now, there were only 2 servers on, which makes zero sense for a Friday night. I can forgive being overwhelmed having worked in the service industry, But that doesn’t explain the flavorless, cold, and just plain awful food!
The strawberry daiquiris our table ordered were flavorless, booze-​less, and slow to arrive.
All in all, a terrible experience!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone looking for a great, heck, even mediocre dining experience eat here.
So. disappointed.

I just watched the most recent South Park about Unilocalers and got inspired. Friendly hostess, friendly waiter, solid meal. Nice job Applebee’s.

We stopped at the Applebee’s in the Burnsville center tonight… Really hoping that it would be a quick stop. We were seated at 6:15 p. m… our server seemed new, he was friendly but not real quick & not very observant. We ordered food right away, We ordered 4 meals, one a kids meal & a bowl of soup… soup & kids meal came out within 10 minutes… the rest of our food came out @ 7:35… our server kept stopping by and saying our food was on it’s way… way over an hour… They brought the food out (FINALLY) the fries were cold, and one of the meals was cold and stale… they had mentioned that the meal that was cold was being re-​made, came out 10 minutes later and asked to swap it out after we had already been eating… They never once offered a discount after waiting well over an hour, we waited another 15 minutes trying to pay… We never stop at Applebee’s however I would Highly recommend after this experience to cross the road and go to Chilli’s or go across the hall to Lucky 13’s… it might be a little more expensive but the service & food quality might be worth it…

Went here for lunch. Waiter was very informative and food tasted Great. Better then i expected from an Applebees. Portion sizes were good. Table was a tad sticky. Overall i will be back to try other menu items.

I went there the other day. The food and service were delightful! I wish the wait for the food wasn’t so long.

This is a great place for any night. If you’re looking for a great deal be sure to come by on Mondays for their $ 5 brews and $ 6 burgers. Any night from 2−5pm and 9pm to close they also have bar specials and half price appetizers. Something to remember if your headed back after a movie. The staff is fantastic and the food is delicious! The menu has great options for the calorie conscious also. All in all, this is a fantastic place to eat!

I think Chains are boring but for some reason, we always end up at Applebee’s a few times a month. More than likely when I or my friends are being cheap and we go for Happy Hour or Monday 5 dollar burger nights.
I usually go to the West St Paul location but we stopped here after a movie one night and I was not pleased.
The service was OK but not great for being practically empty. The food wasn’t that great either, not that Applebee’s food is ever GREAT but it didn’t even meet its normal mediocre standard.
Ci was with me and she felt the same way. There was just something about this Applebee’s we both didn’t like. I think we are just more comfy at our West St. Paul location.
In a pinch, I would come here again but more thank likely not.

The service was bad… how do you let drink glasses ever get empty? Drinks are most profitable item in a restaurant. This has not been my experience on past visits, so I’m hoping it improves next time we visit. Food matches the price of what you pay.

I am writing this while sitting inside this place in a cold winter night with my friends. We waiting for our hot delicious chicken wings. Come here after 10 pm anyday they have happy hour. I love the chicken wings. It is half off. We been here yesterday and the waitress even remember us. LOVE THIS PLACE!

We usually go here on Mondays for their special: $ 5 burgers and $ 5 pitchers, because why would you ever want to pay regular menu prices for microwaved food at Applebee’s? Lol, but nonetheless, the bartenders here get a lot of regulars and recognize you after a few visits and remember your name and preferences…

Great servers they were very friendly the food came out fast and was yummy

I normally wouldn’t write a review for a national chain restaurant, since there doesn’t seem to be much of a point. Still, I want to recognize the staff at this particular Applebee’s for the really incredible service they gave me and my wife one night about a year ago.
Granted, I didn’t expect much. Applebee’s has never been high on my list of restaurants, even among chain burger joints. Somehow, this time was different. The music was too loud, but they turned it down a bit at our request. They had a deal running where you get an appetizer and two entrees for a set price. I wanted the Cajun steak, which wasn’t on the list of entrees, so the server just had them make a regular steak and add all the toppings that go on the Cajun steak. Very accommodating of her, and the food itself was good too.
I would definitely think of going to Applebee’s again after this!
