Nothing to wrote home about. I tried the eggs benedict and I have to say, I was pretty underwhelmed. The hollandaise sauce was alright, but the eggs were over medium and were basted instead of poached. They tried, but whomever was making this meal had never been properly trained. The other 2 I was with enjoyed their meals, so maybe it’s worth giving a second chance to.

Great pancakes! I’ve tried several other menu items and they are all great. The owner and his family take great care of their customers. It’s got a 50s diner vibe, but is always clean, fast service, and yummy!

I love this family restaurant. Great food, great service. You always leave with a big smile on your face. Great for breakfast. If you go later in the day, try the pot roast. I’m not a pot roast kind of gal, but this amazing, melt in your mouth food. Try it!

It’s a cute diner, but it was a fairly underwhelming experience. They brought me the completely wrong meal and had to make correct one after realizing a Reuben and eggs Benedict aren’t the same thing… The sandwich was literally the saltiest sandwich I have ever eaten to the point I almost didn’t eat it at all, and I love salt! It’s fairly close to my house so maybe I’ll give it another go and try some of their breakfast foods.

Love the homemade strawberry jam! Customer service is phenomenal, our server was very attentive, and kind. The food was great(I got huevos rancheros, and my bf got ze’s slam), but I had to give it a four star because the fries weren’t fresh. they were hard.

Cute Décor for the ladies! Food tastes great! Presentation & Portion needs improvement. I think the guy in the corner with Zubaz likes me, he’s hot. Server was Jose! 5 Star! Yes, coming back. More Holladazie plz.

This place is a solid 3.5 stars. Usually busy and for good reason, everything here is on point as far as value and quality. The only negative can be the service, which can be sub par if they’re overwhelmed, and I’ve also noticed certain waiters are far superior to other members of the staff. That being said, in the immediate area it’s either here or Perkins, so shop small and enjoy.

Great, no FABULOUS food at a very reasonable price. The omelet that I had was light, fluffy, and tasted great. This is probably the best diner south of the river.

Ehhhh… food was kind of tasteless. I ordered the corn beef omelet. The omelet was rubbery and the contents were missing flavor. My husband stated his dish was just ok. I wish I would have looked at the bathroom before I ate because it was nasty and one step above a gas station. To me I always look at how clean the bathroom is. It is an indicator on how clean the rest of the restaurant is. Yuck!!!

This is a great breakfast place. I have only been here and ate off the breakfast menu so I can’t comment about any of the other dishes. The breakfast menu is very generic aside from the gyro omelet which I normally get. I love gyro meat and the cucumber sauce they include with it. I also highly recommend the hibiscus tea. Aside from the deliciousness and health benefits you can pour in some red wine when you need to get through another long work day.

Classic décor and great diner food at a reasonable price. I had the Ze’s Slam — French toast, 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast for $ 10.75.

We’ve been to Ze’s a handful of times and each time has been fantastic. I love diners with real homemade comfort food and Ze’s hits the spot!

This would have been a 4 star review, if only we hadn’t found– not one, not two, but THREE hairs in our food. I, alone, had 2 hairs mixed in with hash browns, and the other in my omelette. My friend found one in HIS hash browns too. These were not head hairs either. They were thick, black and curly. Yes, it’s as disgusting as it sounds. Be sure to check your food before you eat it! I went here yesterday(Oct 5th) with a friend of mine for a quick, simple and tasty breakfast while we waited for his flight. I ordered an Omelette and he ordered the classic breakfast. Honestly, up until the hair, the food wasn’t bad. Gravy was great, hash browns were soggy and awful, omelette was solid and the bacon was fantastic. Good coffee too. But c’mon. 3 hairs, at one table? We would have said something but we didn’t want new food, and even if we still had an appetite after discovering these hairs, we had a plane to catch. Well, he did, anyway. I live 3 miles away, but I can guarantee I’ll never be back, and never let anyone I care about eat there if I can help it.

Small place with a 50’s style décor. Stopped in for breakfast after seeing a Unilocal review. The staff is very friendly and the food came out really fast. The cook is some sort of short order ninja(Suck on it Jimmy Johns). All I can say is the food was excellent and I would gladly recommend it.

Every time I visit this place, it confirms that they’re awesome at making and serving awesome food. Family owned with good service and a long list of interesting menu items. It’s a hidden gem tucked away at the tip of Eagan’s promenade sq. I’ve been frequenting this place since last year and it has never disappointed me.

Ze’s Diner is one of those strip mall restaurants you drive by a dozen times and say to yourself«Self, you should stop there sometime. It might be good». The fact of the matter is that you should have stopped at Ze’s Diner each one of those dozen times because it is that good! We stopped for breakfast and had the special Pumpkin Pancakes and the Gyro Omelet. The pumpkin pancakes were moist and delicious while the gyro omelet was the best! The meat was cooked perfectly and had a great taste inside the omelet with cucumber sauce, onions, peppers, and cheese. Also the service was top notch! Friendly and fast! Never had an empty drink to worry about. So when in Eagan(or within two hours of here) stop by and eat here!
