Clackamas River Farm

We had our wedding here in July and we could not have been happier. My then-​fiancé and I had visited about a dozen venues, and after a few minutes at the Farm we knew it was the place for us. The setting is completely magical (seriously, words cannot express — go check it out), but what made it perfect was how warm, easy-​going, and helpful our hosts, Karen, and Michael were. And their kids, Olivia and Lukas, were so sweet and helpful as well; they worked our wedding, along with the awesome farm worker, Diana, and one of Olivia’s friends, and did a tremendous and professional job. Our guests were glowing with complements about the space, staff, and event!
Prior to visiting the Farm, we went to several venues that had a ton of rules, regulations, structure and surcharges, which felt too restrictive to us. Karen and Michael were the opposite — they were extremely flexible and accommodating, and let us use anything around the farm (tables, candles, hay bales, etc) for our décor. Another huge benefit of this venue is that you get the space for the weekend. So you can set up early, and there is no stress about early drop-​offs of supplies! If you want your wedding on a relaxed, serene, beautiful farm, that is home to a wonderful and loving family — this is your place!

What else can we say, besides this venue is amazing! For a quite a few reasons! Karen and Michael are very friendly, helpful, and super accommodating! They were very quick to answer emails about any questions we had. We also got to take a few different tours before the wedding. The property itself is beautiful, and very spacious. Not to mention you can have you ceremony in quite a few different places, the amount of options are awesome! You cannot get this kind of service and time booking a wedding venue anywhere else. They only book one wedding per weekend so you get the whole place to yourself to set up the day before, celebrate the day of, and take down the day after. Could not have imagined having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you Clackamas River Farm!

I was at the wedding of two of the recent reviews that gave the farm 1 star. I would have to disagree with most of what was commented on. Of course we didn’t witness everything but the family that owned the farm seemed very kind & very hospitable. Many people commented positivity on the lovely farm and we agreed. It was a beautiful venue. I would have my wedding or an event here no problem. I would imagine you’d know what to expect when you sign up for an outdoor venue at someone’s home. Expectations should be different than a public dance hall.
I heard people comment that the «1 star bride» was a bridezilla so make note of that for anyone considering this venue or a farm in general. Remember it’s a farm not a cathedral. And if you’re obsessive, don’t chose a farm.
I just wanted to write this comment to show support for people that are making an effort in providing people with nicer event venues. As an independent business owner I know how tough it can be when one person tries to spoil it all. It’s a tough business filled with many rules and difficult people.
Keep going Clackamus River Farm! We need more beautiful places like yours.

I got married at Clackamas River Farm in August this summer. I knew this was my venue about 5 minutes into my first visit.
I am a very creative person and I didn’t want a cookie cutter venue, I was looking for a venue that would be beautiful but also allow me use my creativity. Clackamas River Farm was everything I was looking for, it was rustic, it was country, it was beautiful, it had good picture settings, it had history, and it had endless possibilities!
Karen and Michael were a pleasure to work with. They worked hard to ensure the property was ready for the wedding. They were extremely flexible with allowing us to take supplies out the the farm and set things up before the big day.
The house worked out perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in. Karen was very flexible allowing us to show up at 9:00 the morning of the wedding. The groom and groomsmen were very comfortable in the carriage house. It also made for amazing pictures!
My wedding turned out perfect and I would defiantly recommend the venue to other brides!

Great location for any event! Set on a beautiful and serene farm with ample space, and even a historic Victorian home. Service was also outstanding, thanks to Clackamas River Farm for a great party!

Awesome place to get married! Come and look at this venue! Can’t beat the price or the service!
