Giovanni’s Pizza

Giovanni’s is a small «hole in the wall» NY Pizza joint (one of 3 locally) that has held it’s prices at least 6 years! You can still get a lunch deal of 2 large slices and a drink for $ 5 (or a 6 inch sub, chips & drink for $ 5) though it has a full menu including specialty pizzas, strombolis, calzones and pizzas. The people are friendly and the food is delicious! Best ham & pineapple pizza I’ve ever had. Nice soooo gooey cheese (My friend prefers a more crispy pizza and the guy said to let them know «well done» next time for hers.) Because the food is made to order it may take longer to get than «fast food» but is worth the wait. It opens at 11 daily and serves a lot of locals. There is a pool table and smut TV blaring. Excellent prices, excellent food, friendly staff. Ambiance? Not so much.
