If I based this review totally on the hospitality and generosity, I would have to give this five stars, but of course, there was more to the stay. We were upgraded free to the queen sized cabin, which was nice and spacious. Bed was very comfy! Room design was a bit strange, not artistic, the floor was nice wood, but the heater was very noisy. No plug in the tub. Refrigerator and coffee maker, no microwave. This is the biggest, and almost only place in a very quiet small town. Hotel complex included a bar and a restaurant(see reviews for Calamity Jane’s). With our room came a bottle of wine, as it was our birthdays. Owner ended up giving us three bottles! Bar was a very fun, friendly, small town place with a nice corner with couch and gas fire place. This town is a bit far from skiing, but has a like for summer activities. Good value. Can I give it four and a half stars?

No soap in room, and rather than bringing some up, the staff says we can come down to the office to pick some up. WiFi doesn’t work.

Good, economical place to stay. Office staff was very nice, room/cabin was clean, cute and comfortable.

Stayed here while skiing in angel fire. Research showed me this was the best value especially when looking for something with connecting rooms. Went with a group of four and got two bedroom. Had plenty of room. I would suggest a mirror to be added in side room. Beds aren’t very comfortable and strange knocking sound all night we think had to do with heater. Overall though for value it was an enjoyable stay.
