… not sure if my previous review posted. I’ve known Todd for several years. I came to Todd in a very challenging time. we asked him to basically re-build our family. not just a computer. due to a very challenging family situation we needed quick turn-around and all new access to my daughter’s school assignments, Google Doc’s, internet-access and other items. Todd re-arranged his schedule to accommodate my family’s very pressing needs. he built from scratch my child’s computer, her internet access including recovering school assignments, iPhone access, system back-up and retrieval, and my own(very messed up) macBook hard drive. he did this in about 24 hours, working well into the evening for password recover and system re-build. this call was«above and beyond.» Thank You, Todd. !

My business Quality Water Systems uses multiple Apple devices critical in our operations. We needed to upgrade the older Macs and determine the most efficient way to use them. Todd was great, he recommended hardware and backup solutions. In addition his training provided time saving tips that will increase productivity and keep our data secure. I also appreciate that he came to our facility to consult and train.

Todd has a lot of knowledge about Apple products. When he is available, he makes it really easy. I am enjoying learning how to operate my new Apple technology from him when he can fit me in his busy schedule. I had a problem with my iMac. Sent Todd a text message a week ago and didn’t hear from him. After I flew to the Bay Area my gifted husband figured out how to fix the issues. If you are going to work with Todd be sure YOU know what you want; he’s quite a salesman. He is dazzled by all the bells & whistles that Apple provides. He truly loves their products. In my case, I am moderately technical. I view my Apple products as business tools. I needed Todd to focus on setting up very simple systems for me to run my two businesses. It was hard to keep him focused on teaching me the basic things I needed to know. Finally I went with someone else who greatly simplified some of the processes Todd had given me. The steps went down from 10, for example, to 2 or 3 to get the same result. Now that is exactly what I want: Simplicity that leads to results.

Met in a parking lot, gave him my macbook. He said he would call me if the repair of my airport card cost more than $ 100. Called in the afternoon and said it was repaired. Met @ Starbucks down the street from the«Authorized» Apple store where he had taken it. THEY put in a $ 10 usb network dongle and configured it. Tough stuff being plug and play! Todd Derek charges me $ 150 and tells me I received incredible«Value» for his«Services». He is a real smooth talker and exudes that reassuring«I’ll take care of it, swagger» If your looking for that warm fuzzy feeling. he is your man… if you just want your hardware fixed… go to the Apple store. I am not saying he does not know about the software os side, but the only«genius» in him is his ability to get in your wallet! Live and Learn! Todd, One more note on your voice mail«have a blessed day“if you really want to help people, steer them in the right direction where they can find help. You can certainly offer to do what they may be to lazy to do themselves or chose not to do themselves, but I think your approach is deceptive. Think about that when you take your BMW to the dealer for tires and they take it across the street to the same store you could have gone to and mark it up 3x $$$. Then see how you feel!

My Macbook Pro HD failed only a couple days before I had to go on a long business trip. I set up an appointment with Todd for repair and he even came to my house to pickup the machine! He upgraded my drive at not extra charge, loaded my operating system at no extra charge, and completed all work just before I had to leave! Todd is easy to work with, fair, honest, fast and knowledgeable. I would recommend his work to anyone! I also plan on getting some Mac based training from Todd, as that is one of his strengths also!

I just purchased an iPad from Todd. He spent almost three hours with helping me set it up as well as a somewhat overwhelming tutorial. There is a learning curve with the Ipad compared to my seven year old Dell laptop. Todd is extremely knowledgeable and was extremely patient with me as I stumbled through the learning curve. He was also able to save all my photos and documents from my old laptop and transfer them to the iPad. If you are thinking about purchasing an Apple product I highly recommend Todd. Although Todd is very knowledgeable he apparently has a no return policy if a customer is not satisfied with the product. Buyer Beware!

I just bought a new iPad and asked Todd to set it up and teach me what was available to me with it. He is very thorough and clear about what he shows you. There are so many features that this device offers you that I will be back with many questions after I play with it. Thanks Todd for all your help and time!

Todd is top notch when it comes to taking care of your Mac computer! I emailed him yesterday to help me transfer all my important files & programs from my old Mac to my new MacBook Pro, and then the next day I had an appointment and everything was set up! He even taught me a few new tricks to better run my computer. Definitely rely on Todd to help you with all your Mac needs.

Don’t expect customer service that focuses on your issues, and don’t expect your appointment to be honored. Apparently Todd is Far more interested in how you heard about him and what he can sell you than helping solve the problem. Lots of questions about where I heard about him and what things I might like to buy. Never any details or information about the hard drive replacement that I needed. Very Frustrating experience. Now I can’t get him to quit emailing me — BEWARE — just look at all the«filtered» — presumably«bought» reviews. Yikes !!

I recently lost over 1500 photographs and vital, business related, text messages on my iPhone. I have been a fervent Apple user for over 10 years, and even with my experience, I assumed all was lost. Todd retrieved everything within 24 hours at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Todd for any of your Apple related issues as well as training — thanks Todd!
