Fairly large room for the money — includes a spa tub.
Appears clean & front desk woman was very nice.
Hotel also has free Wi-​Fi.
About a mile from town (restaurants, etc.).
Didn’t use any of the other amenities, but would likely stay here again on our way to/​from MTU.

Milwaukee, WI
Room was clean and beds comfortable with nice bedding. Shower was pretty good and bathroom was very nice. I had a spa tub in my room, although I didn’t use it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Be advised that it is outside of Eagle River so you’ll have to walk about a mile to the closest restaurant. About .7 mile to Tribute Brewery which is great!

Best western derby inn eagle river WI
A clean, well maintained, affordable hotel awaits you in Eagle River. The hotel pool was large as well as hot tub. The pool area has large vaulted wooden ceilings and is dimly lit. They have a sauna, but hotel saunas are never the real deal. They just aren’t hot enough. They also have a game room with a pool table.
Our room was clean and updated with plenty of outlets.
When we checked in, the front desk worker was not super welcoming or friendly, but she got the job done.

This is a great place to stay in Eagle River. Rooms are always clean. Very well kept. We have stayed her multiple times and have never had any issues with the room or service. Very nice hotel.

* Clean rooms and the staff are always cleaning the hotel. Free wifi, breakfast and parking. Pool area is large with games, billiards.
* Found ants in room and for 1st and 2nd night the hot tub didn’t work, 1 of the 3 ladies was very helpful the manager I think, the other 2 worthless.
Maybe if I needed a room bad enough I would go back, but otherwise no.
