Worst BBQ I ever had, granted I’m from Texas so that’s some pretty big shoes to fill. A you can’t smell the meat there’s a problem. B the sauce was the only flavor, which is a cop out. C the ribs suck. D the sides are not much better. I know everything’s more expensive here in Alaska but I wouldn’t never pay for this again. To the owner message me I’ll hook you up with some tips.

This place has drastically gone down hill. It sucks when asians come in and ruin the history of an old american burger joint all to make more money .The food absolutely sucks now. It isn’t the old pete’s bbq that i knew and loved (and drove from anchorage to get). I worked here for 7 years in the late 90’s and i ate here every single day except sunday (closed). Thats how good it WAS. Never will i eat here again. Unfortunately it won’t allow you to give them ZERO STARS. but that would be my rating

A hidden treasure for carry out in Eagle River. This place has the best burger for your dollar in Eagle River. The food was prepared quickly and the buffalo wings were the biggest I’ve had from a restaurant. The best bang for your $ is from Pete’s BBQ.

This is a perfect example of a place you’d find only in southcentral alaska. Asian owned burger joint with miscallaneous other items. The burgers are awesome, the BBQ is great and even the chinese food is pretty alright. there’s no dining space in pete’s itself, but tip’s bar right next door will take your order and you can eat at the bar.
