I had a great experience at Kalawi Farms. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I didn’t try any ice cream but those peaches are so very good. Next visit, I will try some of that ice cream being raved about.

Loved the ice cream and fresh peaches! Next time I’m traveling down this way I will definitely stop again. There’s a playground as well which looks pretty new! A really nice little place to stop and let the kids stretch their legs!

The ice cream was delicious! What a perfect ending to our lunch at Blakes Restaurant down the road. We had driven past this farm to get to our lunch and saw quite a crowd… That’s always a good sign! My son had cookie dough with large delicious chunks of cookie dough, my husband had chocolate which he loved, and I had caramel crunch. The caramel and the crunch were so good! Good to the last drop, literally! Family run farm with play sets and seating area, loads of delicious peaches and other fruits and veggies for sale. I only wish this place was closer to home! A definite GOTTAGO for anyone!

I love peachessss. Sadly, i was still full from the meal i had before coming here, but my family made me try the ice cream, and i swear i ate half of the tub by myself once i tried it. I was expecting it to taste like a sorbet and have a similar texture, but no. It was legit ice cream with real peach bits inside and i was in heaven. The consistency was so thick and creamy, it didn’t even melt(possibly because we finished it so fast.?). Favorite peach ice cream by far

We stopped at the Kalawi Farms and Ben’s Ice Cream stand on the way back from the N.C. beaches today. Decided to take the scenic route home and avoid, for the most part, four lane highways. This is one of at least three similar stands on Hwy 211. I think it was the ice cream that caught our attention. We passed it and turned around to come back. It’s a very popular place! We bought some peaches and corn to take home as well as a cup of strawberry ice cream — the best I’ve ever eaten!

Excellent peach ice cream in a waffle cone. I’ve been going to this place for years, and any time we get off of Hwy. 220 heading toward Pinehurst, we stop. It’s worth the detour off of 220 to get a great cone of ice cream. $ 3.50 for a single(looked more like a double) scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone.

The Kalawi Farms run a fruits and veggie stand on Highway 211, but they also run at the same stand Ben’s Ice Cream Shop. This little stand sits what seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but directly on the path the Pinehurst resort on Highway 211 and is located between Candor and West End, NC. Due to the nature of the business, they are only open in the months from May to October, 8am to 8pm. On the fruits and veggies they offer sweet corn, blueberries, strawberries, green beans, water melons, and of course Peaches which brings me to the ice cream side of the stand. They’re specialty is peach ice cream for which I ordered a cup. My GF ordered chocolate chip cookie dough, both of which we thought were very good. Pricing was very reasonable for the multiple scoops and folks were real friendly. So if you are heading to or from Pinehurst, this might be a good place to just take a quick break and enjoy some Sandhill’s hospitality and good eats along whatever way you are going.
