Eagle Ranch Golf Course

The staff at Eagle Ranch was on top of everything, immediately making my wife and I completely welcome. Compared to other courses, this alone made it a great choice. Nice practice range and putting/​chipping area, with free balls. The carts are new this year, equipped with a very helpful computer/​GPS screen offering flyovers of each hole and a brief voiced description of the best way to approach. For players who haven’t played here before, it’s incredibly helpful. The Arnold Palmer course is links style, with plenty of mounds, few trees, and some spectacular views. The fairways are above average, the rough is not overly penal, and the greens are the best I’ve played this year: fast, firm, and true. We played in gale force winds and still had a blast, moving to the forward tees and practicing our low punch shots and stingers. Love this course! FYI, we booked an online special, which nearly halved the cost, making this a bargain and a treat.

Very nice mountain golf course at a very reasonable price. Condition of fairways was very good and greens were very fast and true. Enough elevation changes to make the course interesting and keep you aware you are on a mountain course but doesn’t beat you up with constantly hitting up hill and down hill to all the greens. Very close to EGE so play it on the way into or out of town.
