What a great place to bike to in the eagle area. A friend of mine introduced me to this place and I loved it! They have an amazing bakery for breakfast and delicious burgers for lunch. Workers were very nice. Definitely will return

Came to eat here for our anniversary breakfast before rising to Lowman. Don’t come to Eagle often, so didn’t know where to go. Found this and it was very pleasant! Had biscuits and gravy, fiancé had Barbacoa Tacos which she loved. Didn’t snap pics since we were in a hurry. Didn’t give 5 stars only because it wasn’t unbelievable, just very good. It did take a little long for food to arrive, but we’re used to less quaint and cool places, so no big deal. Would eat here again if we come through town. Waitress/hostess was also terrific.

Cute little place in downtown Eagle. Food was great, service a little slow but friendly.

If I could give this review 0 stars I would but I have to at least have one. Its almost like the people working there don’t have a clue on what to do or how to make drinks. They cannot even put an order into the register, and take your payment. They messed up our order, and then, once they defended their mistake, we walked out with it, and no refund. I would not recommend going here, unless Perks of Life is out of chocolate.

Be prepared for long wait times, both to put in order and get your food. Also had to ask for beverage refills and check change. They said it was due to all new staff but the food received mixed reviews from table party and the place wasn’t crowded at all. Very disappointing experience overall.

A hamburger and cup of coffee was $ 15 and this included some very tasty sweet potato fries. Hamburger was average. The service was pretty good after we got our silverware. The place is hip and groovy and if you are in Eagle, it’s worth stopping in. I felt welcomed, the place is clean and the lunch decent.

I have always enjoyed this place. One of the oldest coffee shops in eagle, it has always been a go to place for breakfast. Now they are serving Eagle’s best burger… And it’s hard to argue otherwise.

Love, love, love this place. Charming, whether you eat inside or out, my personal favorite. The burgers are delicious. My lunchtime favorite. Just wish they were open for dinner.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. I often like to get an afternoon tea and pastry. Walk up to the counter and someone hollers just take a seat anywhere. The place was loud! No quiet conversation here. Ok, menus and silverware… no we just wanted tea. Are you kidding Stash tea bags? Had to remind the waitstaff a couple of times about my cookie. Which was served stretch wrapped and plate-less. Wife latte was look warm milk. Several apologies about it being unusually busy. Well I’ll help there, not going back.

What a great little place. We stopped here for the first time to have some lunch, and we were not disappointed. The service is great and they have a case full of delectable paatried. The menu has a variety of items to choose from; burgers, sandwiches, burrito, tacos and more. I ordered the Loco burrito… it normally comes with beef, but because I don’t eat red meat, I asked to do the barbacoa pork. Along with the pork, there were the softest and flavorful black beans, perfectly ripe avocado slices grilled peppers and cotija cheese. I asked for no grilled onions, pico de gallo and mild green chiles, but they normally come on it. This burrito was so good, it was full of flavor and so filling. I will definitely be going back here again on my next visit to town.

Wild West is my 2nd favorite breakfast spot in Eagle, coming in right below Rembrandt’s. What I like about Wild West is the variety of offerings it serves. You can choose from a bakery display case or full breakfast menu, take your pick between coffees, teas and smoothies, and also enjoy lunch and dinner from the full menu with a follow-up of a delicious soft serve cone for dessert! Food: I’ve tried many things on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet. Almost everything comes in giant portions, and I’m not complaining. My favorite item is their chili served in a sourdough bread bowl. Their burgers are delicious, it’s what my husband orders every time. The patty is a big, thick hunk of meat and the bun is toasted to perfection. I’ve also had the oatmeal, waffles with strawberry topping, breakfast croissant and soft serve ice cream. I recommend it all! Drinks: The drip coffee is great. Self-serve water. Atmosphere: It may not be a big spot, but it’s great for work meetings or get-togethers because it’s relatively quiet. We enjoy going on Sundays after church. During the week it’s not packed either! Service: This might be the reason I give it four stars instead of five. While the food is delicious, the time period between ordering and receiving the food is often rather long. I know they have a tiny kitchen, so the wait is absolutely worth it for the food! Healthy Hack: The oatmeal is great but doesn’t have a lot of protein. Ask for a side of egg whites(they might give you a side-eye) and mix them in. It’s delicious. Happy Hour Offerings: n/a

Ok, I came back beginning of this weekend with my son to give it another chance after the owner posted. So, she hired some fabulous new servers. Jennifer was our server’s name and she’s wonderful. Food was great as always. Eagles Best Burger should be named Boise’s Best, BTW. Came back again mid week to see if they still have consistent service, and yes they do. The second time, Jennifer remembered my order. So, back again today, called first and again, Jennifer remembered my name over the phone and my order!!! Naomi, don’t loose this one!!! Oh, yes, food is wonderful here, and now the service is just as wonderful. If this new service attitude keeps up, this restaurant is going to ROCK it!!!

Really like this place, but usually not a huge selection of pastries. The coffee is good, try the bread pudding, amazing

I’ve always been a fan of this place, even before it had the menu options it does now. In a nutshell, this place is a good go-to any time of the day, whether it be first thing in the morning for a coffee and pastry or later in the day for lunch or dinner. Located in a historic downtown Eagle building, it is next door to the old Eagle Hotel and across the street from Orville Jackson’s. IMO, their patio offers one of the best seats in town. The food here has come a long way. Not being a big fan of coffee drinks anymore(though theirs are very good), the food is what keeps me coming back. Breakfast is served all day. I am a huge fan of the biscuits and gravy. Selection is ample, not so big that it takes you 20 minutes to decide, but just enough that there is something for everyone. The pastry case holds their awesome sticky buns(with or without nuts) and muffins, two of my favs. The menu consists of several breakfast offerings, salads, burgers, sandwiches and such. I am a big fan of their burger, touted the best in Eagle. Cooked how you want it, it has always come out hot and juicy, like a burger should. Their fries are baked here, not deep fried. Leaves them crispy and not grease laden. Several other sides available to go with your sandwiches or burgers, including potato salad that is one of the best I’ve had. Not on the menu yet are the Cuban and Hawaiian sandwiches made with their sliced pork roast. The pork roast on its own would make a fabulous meal. The Cuban has been a family favorite since the owner first told us about it. Ask your server about them and give them a try. Fish tacos are always a good option, as is the tri-tip sandwich(French dip) that comes with some of the best au jus I’ve ever had. When the patio is closed in the colder months, coming in for a soup/sandwich combo is a great way to warm up on a cold day. Views out of the front window are just as good as sitting on the patio, especially if there is snow on the ground or if the leaves are blowing around on an overcast, blustery fall day. There seem to always be two or three soups/stews on the menu, which are made from scratch, as is everything else I’m aware of. If you’re in a hurry, call in an order to go. If not, relax on the patio in the summer or take up a booth or table inside. Several murals/paintings adorn the walls and there is even a room in the back perfect for your business/club meetings that can hold around 16 people. I am told that almost any of their burger/sandwiches can be made gluten free. Ask your server. If you’re looking for a place in Eagle to get some great food, or just to grab a drink and relax for a few, this is the place to go. You’ll probably see me there.

Everything that I have ever had here is very very good. Today I had the French toast and it was light, fluffy and not too sweet. Great with a coffee.

I want to love this place. It has a great spot in Eagle. It has a theme and local art to match. I’ve been in 6 – 7 times in as many years(in this location and the one that had/have out in Meridian). Each time it’s a sleepy place at a sleepy pace. Today was a holiday and we came in at 9:30 with 5 tables of customers. We got our card back at 10:47. With tables asking to close their tabs without having gotten food. It was like some process just wasn’t in place. And the food. Oh goodness. Oatmeal that was past it’s prime. And biscuits that tasted of rotten fish(split in half with something that apparently had a green colored food stuff along for the ride). The tea situation. The queen would not be pleased. And the coffee service. Those plastic cup thingies that Clark W. Griswold worked on… There’s always outlier days. And the frantic wait staff were nice. But as I contemplated this, a friend pointed to the ceiling vents. Check out the ceiling vents on your next trip…

This was another stop on the best burger in the treasure valley. I stopped in around 1pm to place a carry out order guess I was walking in the middle of a kitchen disaster. I could see a few customers weren’t very happy and another engaged in a serious conversation with the owner/manger. She seemed very friendly and apologetic about whatever happened. I placed my order the lady who took my order told me it might be a little bit the kitchen was swamped. I ordered their regular burger and their southwest burger. I waited 40 – 45 minutes before I received my carry out order. I have to say the staff that gave me my food was friendly even made a nice joke about the wait. I don’t know what happened before I arrived but next time I will avoid Sundays around lunch. Now for the food. the burgers were perfectly seasoned and the buns were warm and toasty. These burgers were some of the best on the tour yet. The southwest burger had this yummy brown sugar cayenne pepper bacon. The sauce on the burger took it to another level. Excellent burger! The only downside was the fries. One of my pet peeves is when they put the veggies in the box especially the pickles. The pickles and their juices soak up the fries making them very soggy and a strong pickle test. I would much prefer they put the veggies especially those pickles separate from the fries. The fries in the other box seemed to be a little underdone and under seasoned. If they could find a way to improve their fries and customer service this would be a 5 star restaurant with one of the best burgers in town.

What a nice find. I had a Patty Melt which was excellent. My friend had the half order of French Toast and it also was excellent. Great and friendly service, I will definitely be back to try more.

My grandmother used to describe super friendly people as «Merry Sunshine». One of the best elements for this little place is the Merry Sunshine people who work there. From walking in the door through every step of service one is made to feel welcome. Giddyeup! This was a destination visit for my husband and me on our first time in. While the sum of our experience makes it not so much a fit for us as destination place again, it is an AOK place for a quick bite if you’re in the area. LOCATION: In the older part of Eagle’s little downtown, as place holder this is roughly across the street from Bodacious Pig. VIBE: The rustic exterior reflects the sense of old timer place. The inside seems equally as long lived with low ceilings and a bit of sense of claustrophobia from those along with maybe too many tables packed into the space. There is also seating outside on a big patio in front.(All that seating suggests this is a popular place with local folks.) An AM or FM radio station on an older sound system provided the background music set to a low level to be barely noticeable.(That’s a plus in my book, the barely noticeable.) THEDRILL: Glass case with baked goodies is to your lift as you enter. You can order to go there. Or order bakery goodies to be delivered to your table. Or take a seat at a table and you can order from the menu, In any mode is added the friendly service. FOOD /MENUS /PRICES: We tried some of the baked goods. We recommend their donut muffin, Café d’Arte coffee being poured I think; our cups were kept filled. Menus at the tables for breakfast and lunch service(no dinner here) showed almost all items priced under ten dollars. Menu options were classic choices, think soup, salad, sandwiches and burgers as lunch examples. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: On street. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in and throughout. Table height seating but spacing may be tight for a wheelchair user. The loo is not wheelchair accessible, no grab bars etc. 3) MURAL: Worth a visit in for a nosh just to gaze at the wonderful cowgirl mural on the back wall inside!
