Residence Inn by Marriott

The hospitality at this hotel is superb! We came to St. Louis to see a baseball game. The hotel had shuttle service to and from the game, with very friendly staff who was willing to hackle with us (rooting for opposing team)! The room we had reserved had been upgraded to a two bedroom suite, which was very roomy. The pillows were amazing. If we ever come back to this city, this is where we’ll stay.

I have stayed here for the past 10 days and I couldn’t be more appreciative of my experience! I am an early bird and night owl so I had the pleasure of meeting every staff member. Super clean, super fun and the 2 bedroom suite I had was amazing. I grew up in the neighborhood directly next to it so it really was like being home again. As an Elite Marriott member, this is by far the BEST hotel that I have ever stayed at with Marriott. Salt Lake City Utah and Grand Island Nebraska could take a note or two as to what it means to really appreciate a member. It was my home away from home after driving all of the way from San Fransisco. In all honesty, I am a bit sad to leave but my experience was so amazing, I already booked my stay here for Labor Day weekend. Looking forward to coming back. Look no where else when staying in St. Louis County. Cabs are quick, food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Kudos to the management. You have exceeded my expectations and now I have an example to the other Marriott hotels as to how you run a true comfortable stay. Looking forward to my many future stays with them. Absolutely incredible!

Everything is Great! Great customer service and they will remember you :) rooms are clean and food is great.

Love the breakfast and it’s variety of options. Love the complimentary meals along with free wine and beer that’s on tap. Pretty good and friendly guest services staff. Very dependable high speed Internet, 24 hour gym, mini basketball court, and laundry room.

Been here a week with many more to go. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The workout rooms is a bit compact but the presence of an indoor pool is great. Love breakfast in the morning and the socials in the evening are great too. Would definitely recommend this place for extended stays.

The main reason for only 2 stars on this review was the attitude and service from housekeeping.
When we arrived there was a dirty sock behind the bedroom door… kinda gross but that would have been easy for use to overlook because the rest of the room seemed clean.
The attitude from the housecleaning lady was what was inappropriate. We left our room at 9:30am and returned at 4:30pm to a dirty room. No big deal, she just hadn’t had a chance to make it to our room yet. At 4:45 she knocks on the door to see if she can clean our room. We asked her if she could come back in ½ hour because we had to get ready for a wedding and would be leaving by then. She said «well this is my last room and I am off then». I’m sorry but we are in the process of showering and getting ready. We told her we were trying to leave as soon as possible but it would be at least 20 minutes. She rolled her eyes and left.
Then 5 minutes later we receive a call from the front desk saying that we can not get our room cleaned in an hour and if we want it done it has to be done now.
First off we never told the lady an hour… we had to be at a wedding in an hour. Secondly, it is not our fault you saved our room for last. I was told by my neighbor (also a guest of the wedding) that her room was cleaned by 2pm. Why she skipped ours I don’t know but her rude and obnoxious behavior as well as trying to place the blame on us is not the customer service I want to receive when I stay somewhere.
There are many hotels in the area… I will definitely find a different one next time.

The room was very nice, as was the breakfast. The reason for 3 stars? Slow Internet connection and lack of local facilities. The wireless connection worked for email, but downloading files was slow. I don’t expect the same speeds I get at home, but 0.5Mps is not good.
The nearest supermarket is 4 miles away. There are very few restaurants in the area. If you want local facilities stay elsewhere.

Rooms weren’t that great but made up for it by easy to find location, nice staff and great breakfast and afternoon snacks. LOVED the breakfast yougart/​granola blend.

We stayed at the Residence Inn for approximately a month when we moved. My husband and I were there with our three year old, and a large dog. We were in a two bedroom suite.
Immediately we were impressed with the friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean and well maintained. We cooked dinner in our room approximately three nights a week, or had a light dinner during the hospitality hour in the lobby. The breakfast was great (for a hotel breakfast). There were many healthy options as well as doughnuts, bagels, waffles and cereal.
We used the pool multiple times. It was always very clean and the pool area well maintained. The outside common areas were well maintained as well. Our dog enjoyed the landscaping and thankfully did not destroy any of their beautiful flowers.
Living in a hotel for a month with a toddler and a dog is definitely not an ideal situation. However, the clean, well maintained surroundings and friendly staff made the month almost enjoyable.

We stayed here one night and the room was clean, large and full of nice amenities. The wifi (which can make or break a place for me) was great, no silly log-​on screen, etc, just turn on the laptop and go.
The breakfast was nice, especially for free, and the lounge/​lobby is comfortable and welcoming. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating as well.
I didn’t use the fitness room or the pool but they were nice, well-​lit spaces.

Great stay at the Residence Inn. Helpful front desk with outstanding customer service. Convenient to the Lambert STL airport (about 8 – 10 minutes away,) and easy to get to downtown St Louis.
Room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was well prepared, and the evening snack/​supper generous with a wide selection of choices. Friendly service and warm smiles from all the employees is just part of the local hospitality I guess.
There were a few (minor) drawbacks for the location: the early morning unloading of the trash dumpster at the adjacent McDonalds, and trying to get out of the parking lot in the morning is a real challenge.
Good wi-​fi service, and the business center computers and printers work well. Even the air conditioning units are quiet. Choice of local paper, WSJ, and USA Today. A solid choice for the business traveler. Rates are reasonable for a suite ($ 130 – 150 range.)
