We ate lunch here today and The food was horrible. The etouffe was bland and the crawfish overcooked. Weirdly, the holy trinity of vegetables were NOT cooked at all. The shrimp and grits were also flavorless. No Cajun or Creole«kick» was to be found in either dish. Our kids had the fried shrimp and cheeseburger, respectively. They were ok, but nothing special. I really wanted to like this place because I like to support local businesses. Sorry to say, we won’t be back.

We gave this place three tries over the course of 6 – 7 months hoping it would get better. The food is awful, I can eat better out of a can. If gator bites and fried pickles is all people talk about then that should say enough about your food. Décor is cool and interesting. This could be a great place since there are ZERO bars or restaurants in downtown Easley that are worth spending money on. We live downtown Easley and can’t wait till a worthy place comes to town. We have to drive to Greenville or Clemson to eat out… unless of course we want Mexican or corporate chains.

Food is okay. I wouldn’t spend the money on the burger again. Our waitress was good though. Cool place to hang out but I don’t know about the food and prices.

I give them 1 star for the only reason that the facility is well decorated and a good atmosphere! As far as the food, well that’s when it just falls apart. This was our second visit in hopes they had practiced enough to get it right, not the case at all… New years eve is a night that myself and my loved one like to take a break from cooking and cleaning and go out to eat for a good meal. Blue voodoo came in mind seeing how they are local and figured we would give them a second chance at it. We did like the atmosphere… From the moment we walked in, everything was very confusing and they were unsure of where we could be seated. From there, we ordered an appetizer that came to the table ice cold! Was blamed on Kitchen, which is not our problem. Then, our meals were over cooked and still could only get the response of «the kitchen help» is new, again not our issue. Needless to say, it was a bad choice ! Never seen a manager to even ask about the issues, but whoever the manager is, did say to deduct half of the bill! They have a long way to go before they can consider themselves a New Orleans eatery! Customers must be consuming alot of alcohol before they eat they’re food, because it’s definitely far from good! Dont worry, you will not be providing our last meal in 2016. Twice is enough for us!

We ordered the Jazzy Wrap with blackened shrimp and the Zombie Burger. My friend and I split them both so we could try each both. Oh. My. Gosh. They were both sooooo freaking good. The queso with the Cajun mayo in the jazzy wrap just really added a special touch. The zombie burger was my favorite if you make me choose between the two. The pepper jelly was unexpected and we weren’t so sure we should get it added, but we went ahead anyway and it did bit disappoint! It «made» the burger. Then, the pimento cheese was to die for. The waitress was friendly and kept our waters refilled. The onion rings were hand battered and the fries were cut in house. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be returning!

A real taste of New Orleans right here in Easley. Gator bites to steak to the Voodoo Burger. It’s all great! Don’t miss this great spot for dinner and a beer.

Normally the food and service is excellent. I don’t recommend sitting in the deck at Sunday brunch. We received terrible service. It was probably due to not enough servers.

This is the first restaurant I have come across in South Carolina that know what they are doing when it comes to the true difference between Cajun and Creole food. Growing up in the lower Ms &LA areas I know! It has been forever since I had gator meat or pop-corn crawdads. It was like going home. Not to mention there is plenty to look at, the decorations are more than interesting, and if you time it right, and eat upstairs, there may even be a local musician there to entertain you while you eat. My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary there and I believe as long as it is in business, it has become our new tradition.

Cool place. Kind of a spooky, skull and crossbones theme. We both tried the Cajun shrimp and grits. Good plate that was not too spicy, meaning rather mild. That doesn’t mean no flavor, as it was flavorful. Great sausage, and the grits are also flavorful. This place has character. It’s also bigger than expected with s front room, back room, porch, and a large upstairs bar with additional seating. Some really funky people came through, also some«normal» people. Don’t let the atmosphere run you away. At least try the place.

AWSOME!!! Was well worth the trip down to Easley… Wil def be a frequent visit as long as the food and service remains the same… As close as you are going to get to The Big Easy and not have to get on a plane!!!

This New Orléans themed restaurant is a happening place on the weekends in Easley. There are two bars in this joint, the larger one being downstairs. I don’t drink anymore these days but word is they have some creative cocktails to enjoy for those who do. There is a large outdoor seating are that is covered and has flat screens to enjoy the games. The food I’m this place is like what you would expect from any ‘Nawlin’s Cajun restaurant. The gator bites($ 9.95) are always good and I always order them. They are tender and have just a slight chewiness to them that you should expect with alligator tail. They have catfish three ways, grilled, blackened and fried($ 15.95). I’ve had the blackened and the fried, both of which are top notch and large portions. The oysters are okay($ 12.95 per doz) usually of the Gulf variety and they even have some grilled with butter and parmesean($ 18.95 per doz) When they have it, the she-crab soup($ 5.95) is out of this world and has plenty of blue crab meat to enjoy. The shrimp ‘n’ grits are the most popular dish($ 16.95). Its flavorful but has a little too much butter floating around for my taste. This dish is super rich with usually a dozen or so shrimp which are cooked well and are slightly crispy in texture. My favorite dish I’ve had here is the Lobster Ravioli($ 15.95)which does contain actual lobster meat. These little pockets of tastiness are striped black which adds some delicious visual beauty in my opinion. Its also topped with a cage of asparagus and an awesome cream sauce, sort of a seafoid alfredo. It’s not on the menu, but they do have it as a special from time to time. You can’t go wrong with any of the desserts but my favorite is the banannas foster bread pudding($ 5.95) It could use a little more whiskey in the sauce though. Bleu Voodoo is only open on the weekends, but I’m glad, because eating here will cause your pants to shrink.

I love this place. The food and atmosphere are great. The staff is very friendly. It’s not the same olé thing. Like to listen to local talent and love the different styles of seating ie indoor/outdoor etc. My favorite meal is the Voodoo Burger. The Voodoo burger is one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. Many reviews I see are based on one visit. I have been to Voodoo several times and it’s Awesome.

Casual atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Something for everyone. Live music from 8 – 10. Very courteous staff. Had the Mississippi Queen Catfish n the Crawfish Étouffée. Both were amazing. Great wine list and many domestic and imported beers. Can’t wait to go back during evening hours to check out the live bands.

Had the shrimp and grits, definitely the best I’ve had in a while. The service was outstanding no issues. The restaurant itself is really well decorated and fun to eat in. I highly recommend a trip to Easley to check it out!

We traveled from Anderson to Easley on the recommendation of an acquaintance that Bleu Voodoo had great seafood. My wife enjoyed the fried oysters while I had the gumbo and the roasted oysters. My oysters were OK but much smaller than expected. We had a good and pleasant server, imported from Chicago. The interior of the restaurant quirky and lacking in appeal. We were seated at a booth whose seats were quite uncomfortable, with undetectable cushioning and irregular springs. All of the other booths looked about the same, and the chairs at the tables didn’t look much better.

We will NEVER get tired of this joint. The voodoo-theme is carried through the authentic New Oreleans menu selections all the way down to the décor going up the stairs. The service was friendly and attentive, the owner is likely to come by and shake your hand, and I just can’t say enough about the total vibe of this place. Great spot to bring out-of-town guests and to frequest as a local. Bleu Voodoo is a nice joly of funky in the midst of traditional downtown Easley.

My friend and I stumbled upon this joint when going off-site from work, and I am pretty glad we found it; it is definitely getting a return visit when my friends in the area want to go out to a local eatery with a fairly good atmosphere. We walked in, and it is decked out in gaudy décor, but the beer selection is solid, and the people are great. The prices are pretty steep, however. My dinner topped out at $ 25. That should not happen at a bar and grill, even with 2 beers. My shrimp and grits was mediocre at best. The shrimp was super salty, the grits were bland, and the advertised sauce was nonexistent. An edible portion of shrimp and grits, and affordable at $ 6 for the bowl. Their gumbo was slightly warm, very boring in flavor, and runny. It lacked the depth of a real roux, and the meat was really sparse. 3 sausage rings were interspersed between some shreds of chicken. No seafood to be found, sadly. Not my favorite place to grab a bite and brew, but I would return for the sake of being seen in a local dive in the great town of Easley, SC. This seems to be the most trendy place to go in the historic railroad downtown.
