Cute, small town museum. The historical society folks who staff it are super friendly.

I always visit the Millard Filmore House when I am in East Aurora. It’s sort of a habit of mine. I think the house is charming. The museum is only opened Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from June till October. While I think the $ 5 fee is appropriate for an individual, it adds up quickly if you’re going in a group. I only actually went into the museum once. I prefer to stay outside in the garden, which is free and open year round. The garden is pretty nice. It has cute little stones and benches. The last time I went, which was recently(in September), there was a sad, little vegetable garden. Everything was dried up and chaotic, trapped behind a dirty picked fence. Oddly enough, it was also charming. So, I go here all the time. The house is actually bigger than it looks. While the vegetable garden was brown and lifeless, the house and main garden are beautiful.
