I’ve stopped at Taste for lunch a few times now. Our most recent visit was this past Sunday after a rainy hike at a nearby park. I ordered the Wedgie(a cheese and bean quesadilla with sour cream and salsa). I don’t know exactly what kind of cheese was in that quesadilla but my, my, my was it tasty! I wanted to devour the entire thing but I’m trying this new portion-control-thing(toughest thing I’ve ever done…) and resisted the incredibly tempting urge to lick the plate clean. Even the side salad had a nice presentation and great balsamic dressing complete with a little cheese on top. I have also ordered the awesome s’more platter in the past — super cool concept — they serve you all the makings for s’more and you’re actually able to roast the marshmallows right inside the restaurant using this portable little fire. I loved the concept of making a s’more around a campfire but was inside! Highly recommend this for a rainy spring or fall day or a chilly winter day. Hey, enjoying a s’more on a warm summer night is great too!!! My only complaint is that whenever I visit Taste, I can never find seating/an available table and usually end up awkwardly balancing food on my lap sitting on the couch until a table opens up. Great spot in the quaint village of East Aurora.

Great cozy atmospheres. Plenty of seating. We sat looking out on main street it was nice just chatting and people watching. There is plentiful variety of teas and coffee etc. As well as pastry sandwiches n wraps. Very nice over all.

I spent the later part of my day exploring Vidlers and was hungry so looked around East Aurora. I came across this adorable café and as I love things like this decided to stop in this place. First thing I noticed this place is cozy. I saw some kids playing with the large checkers and chess near some of the little tables. People using the wifi while drinking some coffee. As for my personal experience I was wowed my the large menu and abundant choices for vegetarians like myself. At first my mom and I were just going to share a cookie and get a drink but then the food looked too good! I got a strawberry smoothie which the flavors just so good so rich! The cookie was soft and very good. For my meal I got the«vidler on the roof» sandwich(this place has the cutest names!) which had red onions, peppers, different cheeses, spinach and balsamic vinaigrette dressing wrapped in a spinach roll of sometime. So fresh and delicious! Way better then any panera bread or Tim hortons. When you wait for your order they give you a name card of a famous person(I had David Bowie)! Nice place to stop by and just relax in and hope to go to soon again :)

A decent café. A friend and I were visiting East Aurora for a couple of hours and decided to grab some coffee. She got a cup of coffee and I got an Americano. We sat by the window where the sun was shining on us that it was making me sweat. The atmosphere was interesting. Spacious yet cozy, however, I didn’t have enough time to lounge around and get to enjoy the ambiance. Hope to be back.

Inviting vibe. Great coffee served by a super friendly staff. We didn’t try any of the food but the menu looked great with lots of interesting options. The display case hosts some delicious looking desserts as well. I am definitely happy that we popped in. What a gem!

My favorite coffee shop for the past decade! From their mochas to their meals, I have always had a great experience, no matter what I order! I love taking friends here. I am particularly fond of their flavored coffees, which hot or cold beat the pants off ‘bucks! If you come for breakfast you HAVE to try the Bandito Burrito! My favorite lunch is the Millard Fill-Me-More — generous portions at fair prices. The staff and atmosphere are wonderful, and between the seasonal specials and the acoustic entertainment, it will keep you coming back!

This is my favorite way to end a walk at knox farm state park. Grab a pretty darn good cup of coffee or latte and try one of their really great food items. They seem to like healthy AND tasty and know what they’re doing to combine the two. In the summer, they have some lovely quinoa salads. I highly recommend these. Also, the breakfast eggs benedict item is really great too. Yum! It’s places like this that make East Aurora one of my favorite places to visit.

I’ve been pretty disappointed in taste the past year. As a vegetarian they are extremely accommodating to food changes, which is my main reason for the 3 stars. However the past few times I’ve been at taste their food is tasteless and disappointing, definitely not worth the arm and leg you spend there. This is a picture of the gardeners grilled cheese(one of my previous favorites). The sandwich was a poor excuse for a grilled cheese. How I could tell the«grilled» cheese was not cooked was not only the dry spinach but the ONE cold slice of tomato.

For me this place is a little gem! It’s a high street full of activity, I only wish I lived closer. When hockey was on my agenda I was a more frequent visitor. If it’s breakfast you are after the coffee is great, lots of seasonal flavors, some are a tad sweet, if that’s not your thing just ask, the staff are so helpful and really friendly. I just had a fresh out of the oven pastry which was delicious, my husband chose the burrito, which was just the right size and full of flavor. I’ve also had lunch here, lots to choose from, including an array healthy choices, which is, in all honesty hard to come by in buffalo!!! It’s a hip, trendy but not too trendy type of place with sofas to relax on, small tables for intimacy and long tables to chat on. Do not walk past even if it’s crowded, you will not be disappointed! I have been in and around Buffalo a lot more lately and this is one place I always will drop in to when I am in the East Aurora area. It is a great little coffee shop with excellent drinks(I am a vanilla chai enthusiast and theirs is great). Their sandwiches are excellent as well. A couple other things I love about this place are the seating options, there are small tables to sit at, a couple couches, and a couple long tables that you can sit at with friends, or to meet new people. The staff is always great and very helpful. They have a great selection of rotating seasonal drinks that they update all the time as well. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular here.

Great pumpkin waffles — I would definitely have them again. The coffee and hot chocolate hit the spot on a cold morning.

I used to live around the corner from Taste, so used to visit here more often. I love the coffee cup on the outside logo when it smokes out steam, although I haven’t seen that happen lately… maybe it’s done more in the summer time? The inside is cute and hip, and I always love places that have their entire menu written on chalkboards(although I can never read them without squinting with my horrible vision lol). It has a decent amount of space in the seating area. It was pretty packed on a Thursday night around 8:30−9pm. It’s nice they’re open til 10pm on week nights, since most places to grab a quick healthier bite to eat aren’t. I went up to the counter and ordered a Twisted Turkey sandwich(on a pretzel bun with chipotle mayo) and pumpkin pie latte. The staff is very friendly and patient, and are pretty helpful when you can’t decide what to order. And then I placed my order, paid, and waited for my stuff. That’s where it gets awkward for me… I feel like I’m staring at the people making my drink and food if I look one direction, and feel like I’m being stared at if I look towards the 30 people in the seating area. I don’t know if there’s a specific spot to wait for your ‘to go’ orders. Or if I should sit down at a table somewhere. They usually don’t take more than 5 minutes so I think I felt dumb to look, so I kinda just uncomfortably stand there while they prepare my order. The line isn’t always busy like everyone that stands around at Spot Coffee, so I couldn’t blend in with everyone. But Maybe it’s just me. The sandwiches are pretty pricey, $ 9.95 for a sandwich with a tiny maybe handful amount of mixed greens with shredded cheese and dressing. But I gotta say the food is tasty and never disappoints. The drinks are just ok, I’ve had ones way too sweet where they caused a stomach ache with one sip, and then ones too bland, and then others decent. The pumpkin pie latte was pretty good, but I couldn’t really taste much, if any of the pumpkin flavor. I guess it’s hit or miss depending on the drink you order. Otherwise this place is a nice go to spot for lunch or a coffee date with friends, loved ones or for small business meetings.

My boyfriend and I come here all the time because we know we’re going to have a great meal and a delicious cup of coffee. Our favorite dish is the Twisted Turkey with Salsa Ranch; you just can’t beat the pretzel bun! The atmosphere is cool and inviting and having the option to sit outside when the weather is nice is a plus. Definitely worth checking out!

Excellent food, however, disappointed in lack of available Gluten Free options. I have been asking for two years for them to look into GF breads. So many available & I would gladly pay an up charge, as many of their other patrons who agree. Many restaurants in WNY have complied with this request for many, this is a health issue. Not all of us do it for fad, many of us have celiac disease & allergies. Other than that, fun place, excellent menu choices.

Not just a coffee shop. They have great sandwiches and even some entrees. We come here every time we are in town from Florida. Unfortunately our mom is moving down with us so we won’t be back as often. Can’t find a place like this anywhere else. Good food, great coffee, eclectic atmosphere.

Best atmosphere and treats. I grew up at this place, meeting friends, reading books, doing work, and listening to live music with amazing coffee(Italian roast) and my favourite snack, tiramisu(try the cannolis and cheesecake as well). I crave to come back here when I’m away at school. The employees are amazing, service is free fast and unique, and the entire café is Tastefully designed with locally sourced art.

If this place wasn’t so far away I would come all the time. The inside is very hip and so are the baristas. Their menu is displayed in bright colored chalk paint and there are so many delicious options. They have a little s’mores set up that can be brought to your table to build your own, very neat. They have a huge checkers board the size of a table, lots of seating options too just wish they had comfy chairs or couches, only tables and chairs. Many different coffee drinks to choose from. At first, I went with a small regular coffee. They have both almond milk and soy options. Right as he was about to put my coffee up on the counter, I noticed that they had a peanut butter coffee. This interested me so after inquiring about it, I learned that they were peanut butter flavored coffee beans. Holy moly. I needed one of those. The barista gladly made me a peanut butter coffee even though he had already poured me a regular blend. Very much appreciated. The coffee was SO delicious. The smell was amazing and there were subtle peanut butter flavors in the coffee. My coffee date got the E. T Mocha which he said was delicious but that I wouldn’t like because it was way too sweet for me. I look forward to coming back here to try their food. They have a ton of yummy sounding sandwiches that are $ 10 and accompanied with a small side salad.

I’ve tried to go to for my lunch hour more than once, and I can never get out in time. The food takes forever to be made(I’ve discussed this with others and they agree, so I’m comfortable that this was not just a few flukes). The atmosphere is very nice, and the staff are courteous. It just takes too long(if you want to eat). The specialty coffees aren’t spectacular, but they’re not bad, either. My sister likes to go here to study. I like it enough to go and hang out with a friend when I have the time. All in all, it could be better, but for the only choice in town, it’s not terrible.

Taste is one of my favorite lunch spots in the area. Amazing wraps and salads! A really fun, quaint interior. Menu items have creative names and usually reflect the local history. Service here is also exceptional. I ordered a chicken salad wrap(I forgot the name of it exactly!) and it was the best I’ve had. I’m very particular about chicken and tuna salads because I prefer less mayo and moderate flavoring. Taste did it up perfectly! Celery pieces added a nice crunch and the craisins added the perfect touch of sweetness. Also ordered a hot drink, something like a raspberry flavored mocha. This was amazing!!! Very subtle raspberry flavor. I’ve also had the chai tea here before but find it to be too«spicey». If you prefer a Starbucks chai, you won’t probably like Taste’s chai. If you’re a hot cocoa fan, you MUST try it here! Downside: during the winter months, it can get very drafty feeling inside. Whenever the door opens, cold air rushes inside and can hit you from all directions! I highly recommend trying a wrap or a soup at Taste next time you’re in the neighborhood!
