I came into this ghetto ass kmart to buy tulle and as soon as we walked in a group of guys verbally abused my friends and I and when my boyfriend walked in they were swinging at him. I had to call the cops myself and I was told «there’s nothing anyone can do about it!» Never let ver going back there! If I can’t even walk in to kmart without this kind of shit happening, that should say something.

Was just skipped by an employee while waiting in line for pizza. Apparently it was my fault since I didn’t step up fast enough. Was offered no apology.

If it was possible to give no stars I would give no stars .,. People don’t help you at all ., they are all slow !!! They take at lest 10 15 mins to ring up one person .,. Some talk to friends and text on their phone while talk while taking care of people it’s a sham I try to not go

Hello my name is Deloris and I purchased a refrigerator from kmart in baychester the Bronx. I am having a hard time finding a repair person to come repair my refrigerator. I am a 911 survivor, which I need my medicine refrigeratored, along with my food! Been on the telephone with customer solutions for weeks, no repair or part arrived au my home, but they did rescheduled me 4 times! I will never shop or recommend Noooooo one to sears or kmart! Unprofessional and don’t care about they’re customers. Unless you purchase the extended warranty plan! Unbelievable I have to be without a refrigerator because, my areahave one repair guy who’s cancelled with me 4 times! ! Thank you kmart and sears but never again! ! Deloris

I came in at closing time. Employee helped me find the things I need and the cashier even let me go back for a few things I forgot. The women by the dressing room was ok but even though she was friendly her tone was off putting and made to sound like I wasn’t welcome there. I wasn’t rushed and I was helped and I appreciate it since I know how desperately some want to leave after a work shift.

Horrible always a line no matter how many cashiers they have its always a line, the food court little ceasers is great tho

Always mega lines!!! It can be early in the morning or late in the evening and the lines will always be long. I’m standing in line right now. I have been on line for 15 mintues and I still have 4 people ahead of me. The worst!

I can see why this Kmart has such horrible reviews. The store just does not look esthetically pleasing on the eyes. The staff members forget that they’re here to do their jobs and not hang out with one another. Although there are tons of staff members here, they only have 4 lines open and each one has at least 7 people on it. You’re probably thinking that’s not a lot but they LITERALLY take 7 – 10 minutes with each customer checking out. Since I started this review only 1 customer has been checked out!

Too overpriced to not have all the check-​out lines open and available. Managers werent even on the premises to assist their employees with inquiries or concerns. Disgusting.

I placed an order online, and it was unavailable to ship but available for pick up at the Kmart. I’ve used this pick up at store service before with other companies, and it is usually a cake walk! This was a NIGHTMARE.
I had a question about the order, when I called the store, no one picked up. I called repeatedly for an hour. Finally I called the online customer service number, where my call was directed to India, and the WORST customer service representative I have ever had to deal with «helped» me. She clearly did not listen to a word I said, but continued to read scripted answers, that did not pertain to my questions.
Several hours later, I FINALLY got an email from Kmart that my order was ready for pick up. I waited in line, and when it was my turn, the woman at the customer service desk could not find my order. IT was supposed to be in cage 1, She said she looked through cage 1 and didnt find it. She just looked at me and said «Its not here.» Finally, she paged someone to ask where it was. After 15 minutes, another person called her back to say that the person she paged was on his break. So I stood around some more until someone else, a stock person I believe, came over to look through all of the cages. The woman at the counter wrote me off, and went about helping other people. Apparently, «I can’t find it» was good enough for her. Eventually, a man in plain clothes, that I can only assume was a manager came over to help the stock person look for my order.
Guess where they found it??? CAGE 1, Where it was supposed to be.
I wasted an hour of my life standing around because a lazy customer service representative couldn’t open her eyes while she looked for something.
To top it all off, I get home and realize, they gave me the wrong size in something I ordered. I called the store the next day to ask if they could put the correct size aside for me, since this was the store’s mistake. The woman on the phone nastily told me that «I can’t do that». Thanks, a lot.

Who ever manages the folks working at the cash registers, tell your workers to stop texting and talking to each other while they’re working. They need more training in professionalism!

Not at all what I expected. This was the first time I visited this Kmart and as big and as organized it looks at this entrance, it is not the same story once you continue to walk around. First let me say that I walked past 4 emloyees and no one greeted or offered assistance. Then I see a manager and 2 male employees discussing some girls Fat Ass. Really? I found nothing satisfying in the women’s clothing department and everything else in the store looked trashed and thrown about everywhere. The shoe department was the only reasonable location surprisingly. Would warn if shopping here.

A rather small K-​Mart compared to others in the country. And whatever you’re buying (besides clothes and appliances) you can like get in the dollar tree for only a dollar. The Little Ceaser’s Pizza is bland and terrible and I have no idea how the chain stays in business unless the ones that aren’t in this K-​Mart are much better.

I was out for some last minute shopping so i came here, big mistake the staff acts like they’re in school playing games, just ring me up and let me out of romper room a business is no place for fun and games unless you work at an amusement park

Located at the Bay Plaza Shopping Center in the Co-​op City section of the Bronx (next door to Party City and Barnes & Noble), this K-​Mart location is pretty much a madhouse any day of the week as thousands of shoppers storm the store and leave it in disarray after their shopping is complete. Store is pretty well stocked in certain sections, but otherwise it ranks below other stores in the chain when it comes to organization and customer service. Weekends tend to be a nightmare. The store (which is owned by Sears) accepts the Sears Card as well as other credit cards. There is a Little Ceasar’s franchised location located near the entrance of the store, and their service is good. It’s not Target when it comes to your shopping experience, nor it’s Walmart when it comes to price, but the store’s location serves the Northeastern Bronx with their shopping needs. Hope corporate reads this review and makes changes to how the store is operated.

My friends and I used to go to Bay Plaza on weekend nights because we had nothing to do and it was easily accessible via public transportation. K-​mart was one of our regular stops. The store is in complete disarray, but does have some stuff relatively cheap. If I hadn’t been a bored teenager, I probably would not have gone here. If I had had license and the Target approximately 10 minutes away on the Hutch had already been constructed, I would’ve totally gone there instead.

It’s sad that Target is «eating K-mart’s lunch» but it is. K-​mart just feels cheap. Everything just feels and looks like it was just unloaded from a truck from Mexico City. Craptastic.
This K-​Mart especially sucks because they treat you like you steal. I hate ineffective security guards gossiping at the front door.
My friend and I bought «value» lunches (ha!) at the Little Caesar lunchenette; good but expensive and GREASY. The kitchen area looked one step up from a carney shack. I’m always amazed at how expensive food can be in poverty-​stricken areas.
