I like it here! Lines can sometimes build, but they work hard to move it along. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful when you have questions, doing returns, or when using coupons. Things are definitely expensive — from their bake ware to even their frosting, icings, and edible candy decorations. I saw the same exact things significantly cheaper at Walmart. Maybe if you needed something very specific or saw something that NOOTHER store had or couldn’t find on , it’s not really worth it. They do roll out coupons, and depending what it is, it can be a good deal. Maybe on just one item though, for half off. I have to admit, they do have a big selection of arts and crafts and baking stuff, so that variety can appeal to people. I just think I can find the same things for a better price elsewhere. Hey, it’s fun to at least browse.

Yesterday was my first time in A.C. Moore since moving to the northeast. I came in to get three diplomas framed. Camille spent over an hour with me patiently picking out all the intricate details that go into having something framed and making sure I was fully satisfied. I was blown away by the terrific customer service I received from her and wanted to publicly acknowledge her efforts and exemplary professional and people skills. She is a true asset to the team at EB, and I will be returning to A.C. Moore and recommending my friends and relatives to go here over other arts & crafts stores solely because of her.

Usually don’t like this store but was in area. Prices have gone up but if u get a sale usually it ends up a bargain sometimes. I usually don’t need much as far as art supplies, I’m a walking, art, store but things do run out. I’ve gotten picky over the, years on what products I use and I know my prices. Never really been, a fan of this place, prefer their competitors. I’ve noticed they are getting better staffed with knowledgeable people. They did raise their prices but I was grateful they had what I needed. They have rearranged and cleaned up store which is good but now can’t find anything. Lol. Arts and craft stores are popping up more n more so they have competition. I went for convenience even though I’ve been in this store, several times. It’s better to catch the sales and even the off sale stuff.

Pretty much the only option for craft stores in the area. For as many items as this store sells, it’s surprisingly always in order. Very neat, very bright and everything is easy to find. I like to pretend I have more creativity than I actually do, so I head here with hopes of finding my next project. Always a bit easier around the Holidays as my interest is peaked a bit more. I’m usually inspired by one of the crafts already made by an associate that you see displayed around the store, which is always a nice little boost for someone lacking in this department. The prices are kind of steep for most items, but I don’t remember a time when they didn’t have 50% or some percentage off of a lot of things. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a sales associate on the floor, but not that big of a deal to me because I rarely ever NEED to find anything. Usually just browse until I find something I like! I will say pretty much EVERY time I’m here, the lines are to the middle of the store. Every time! Including this visit, where I decided to put my items back and leave. Doesn’t matter if there are two people on line, always a long wait at the registers.

Given it’s proximity to my house, A.C. Moore is a good little arts and crafts store. I help keep these guys in business by feeding my daughter’s addiction to art and design, and that’s money well spent in my book. While I was never a classically-trained artist, painter, sculptor, or anything like that, and despite the fact that I can’t cut a straight line or wrap a present to save my life, I’ve somehow still managed to make a career in design. By getting my daughter started early, I hope to see even more opportunities made available to her. She absolutely loves this store. From acrylic paints and canvases to cake pop molds and accessories, I pretty much let my daughter go to town here. And while the tab can run up quickly, I appreciate that A.C. Moore sells lots of little arts and crafts projects — some for as little as $ 1.00. As for me, I just try to get out of the store without buying candy or some stupid impulse item like a paintable lawn gnome. For me, design is all digital.
