Absolute Moving System

We could not be more grateful to Absolute Moving company! Being that we are two really busy physicians and they helped us move for the 4^th time, we learned that we could really count on them for anything we needed. Each time they were very accommodating with their availability to make our dreaded move as easy as possible, they were punctual, efficient, and incredibly careful with our things. Not only were they neat, trustworthy and honest but the last time they even helped us fix a broken closet door in our house so that we could get our security deposit back without a problem. I think you always get what you pay for and I highly recommend Absolute Moving if you want a quality, trustworthy company to work with.

Our scheduled appointment time was at noon, but the crew showed up at 10:30 am. It’s a good thing that I showed up early, otherwise they might have left.
Demetri and his two men crew worked fast and ONLY had to move furniture from a one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment, which was only 7 minutes away. It took them 3.5 hours to move our furniture, yet the bill stated 5.5 hours, one of which was for travel time. They charged us for an additional hour of working time and indicated that they started at 9:30 am.
At the end, Demetri asked me, «How much are you going to tip us?» I told him that I plan to tip $ 100.00. He shook his head in a dissatisfied way and said, «That’s not going to work, we need more than that.» I was completely shocked and felt bullied into giving more. I planned to pay cash for the tip, so I only had $ 100. I said, «Well, if you want more, you will have to charge me on my cc. He said, «No, I want a personal check or cash.» I said, «I’m sorry, but charging the card is the only way that you will get an additional tip.» Finally, he agreed to that with a sour expression on his face.
This was a terrible experience and I will never use Absolute Moving EVER again.
