I have passed by this store all the time when I’m shopping at this center — but I have actually never been inside. I wasn’t even sure it was still open and around, because when you pass by something you don’t always register if it’s always there. Plus things close down all the time. I ventured in here for the first time because I needed some wrapping paper. As soon as I walked in, most of the holiday stuff was front and center. The store itself looked like any other dollar store — kind of dingy, fluorescent lighting, no frills — you shop and browse, but they aren’t trying to entice you there to stay longer and spend more money like a typical shopping mall or store. They have a lot of stuff here — I noticed a card section(smaller than Target or supermarkets, but sufficient for the right occasions), school supplies, refrigerated foods, dry foods(although I’m not sure how fresh or how high the turnover is. I have never bought food from here before), party supply section, and a bunch of aisles of holiday decorations(very extensive for a dollar store), gift boxes, gift bags(really cool selection, better than any fancy store could offer. I saw a giant owl bag that was the size of my entire torso and maybe even my head. Gave me a laugh!) Cashiers/workers are friendly! I wanted to clarify that everything was actually a dollar, because sometimes dollar stores end up charging more for some things, and she laughed in a nice way and confirmed the prices. And then when I was being rung up by a different woman, she was extremely pleasant, chatting/joking a bit as she helped me tie up my wrapping paper rolls with a rubber band. It was nice to see people who were in jovial spirits. Have shopping carts in case you need to buy a lot. I didn’t see any baskets.

Love this Dollar store! It’s fairly new and I assume replaced the one that was in Loehmanns Plaza, which was a dump! This store is super clean, which is great. I always feel dirty when leaving most other Dollar stores. Dollar Tree does it right. A lot less junk than most other stores too. They have a great selection of greeting cards! Why anyone would go to Hallmark and spend $ 3 + on a card, is beyond me. I don’t buy food here, just chips, but some people may and there are a lot of name brands. Tons of frozen food items as well. Totally mind boggling is the offer of pregnancy tests as well as marijuana test kits… I can’t make this stuff up. I mainly go for the Holiday decorations, party supplies and glassware. This is the better choice of Dollar stores in the vicinity!
