Duan Changmin, OD PA

Dr. Duan is a lovely woman and a very nice doctor. However, every time we go, we have to plan to be there for hours. Today was the last straw. We had the second and third appointments of the day. She was already behind, due to the fact that she books appointments that take 45 minutes or more for every 15 minutes. I told them up front that we needed to be in and out today, which was why I had booked early appointments. Two patients who were coming in only to pick up their glasses decided they wanted their vision retested. Again I told the assistant that I had specifically made early appointments because we had plans for the day and that I would rather they not take these walk ins ahead of me (which I could tell they were going to do). Not only did they take the walls ins ahead of me, but they put both my daughter and I in one exam room in an attempt to do so behind my back. I let my daughter complete her exam because she really needed a new prescription. I told them to cancel mine and I already have an appointment with another doctor. With a 9:30 appointment we left the office at 11:15, and only one of us was seen. A ll venting aside, the moral of the story is don’t go here unless you have 3 hours to kill.

Dr. Changmin Duan is a phenomenal eye doctor. She’s precise and knows what she’s doing. Her office also has a selection of frames and lens replacement service. They accept VSP coverage.
