Gary had represented me in an IRS tax audit. My experience with him was very positive. Even though it was a long and tedious process, the outcome was successful and I didn’t have to pay Uncle Sam. He was very professional and competent and I will use him for filing my taxes in the future. I already recommended him to my family and would certainly recommend him to others.

I opened my first small business a little over a year ago and at the beginning didn’t give much thought to filing taxes. It seemed simple, come on April 15, throw a stack of papers on the accountant’s desk and all is taken care of, right? WRONG. After talking to a friend (also a business owner) I found out that there is much more to it, and that what I’ve done, or rather failed to do could become very costly if not promptly rectified. After contacting Gary, in what seemed to be the 11^th hour, I explained to him my dire situation and that I was entirely overwhelmed with the whole process. He was extremely understanding and very patient. My first consultation on the phone lasted over an hour, even though it was late in the day and way past business hours. He went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and meet me on the weekend to sit down and devise a plan for handling my situation. He explained to me about quarterly taxes, payroll taxes, sales taxes, etc. He showed me deductions I didn’t know existed and explained why some deductions aren’t advisable. We discussed the differences and benefits of filing as sole proprietor vs LLC vs Corporation. There was so much to learn. Over the next few weeks he worked closely with me (via texts, emails and over the phone) to resolve my situation, get me caught up and file year-​end taxes. He worked with IRS to reduce penalties for my previously unfiled paperwork. After the tax rush was over, we met again and this time we talked for a while about my financial situation, my business goals and how to best structure my business and plan for the future.
I highly recommend Gary to anyone, especially if you’re a small business start-​up or just need some financial planning advice. He is smart, passionate about his work and is very easy to work with. He truly cares about helping his clients no matter how small or insignificant their problems may seem. He will travel to any (reasonable) destination to accommodate your needs. Our last meeting took place at my local coffee shop. I felt like I was hanging out with my old friend and planning my future over a good cup of java.
