I’ve been coming here since I was a little guy with my mom & dad. I remember this guy and his business always taking advantage of my parents. Either a part wouldn’t work and they couldn’t get their money back or he would overcharge. He was not a smart business owner when it came to customer service.
Recently, you can tell he has shifted his way of doing business. With the amount of auto wrecking yards. He has signs posted around the front desk. No refunds, exchange only. I overheard him on the phone with a customer. Transmission didn’t work and he offered the customer’s money back. You either listen to your customers and give great service with a smile or you continue to be rude and lose all your clients.
My experience was being overcharged. Never start your sentence with «I can’t find this part anywhere. The dealership stopped supplying them,» It’s instant dollar signs for this guy. Bango Bolt from a 97 Pontiac Firebird. Buy a bango bolt at Pepboys, or Advance Auto Parts. That will cost you about $ 5 dollars. Buy the same bolt, but used from 97 here, $ 20 bucks! I almost lost my mind.
A good mechanic is about $ 80 to $ 90. To remove a bolt from a brake caliper is about 60 seconds. Not worth $ 20
I will avoid this place unless I have no other choice.
