Dr Leitman is very thorough and a great conversationalist. He has always given me great advice. I especially appreciate that he is willing to come in on his day off to see emergency patients. He has done that for me in the past and it was greatly appreciated. He has an eclectic assortment of items in his waiting room. Do not let that deter you from seeing him. His office staff is very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

This is my first Unilocal review but have been a resident in the central NJ area for over 25 years and would highly recommend Dr. Leitman. My diagnoses in the past came with a wealth of information not just a script and an order to come back. Today my visit was routine but reminded me of the reason why I go back to him: attention to his patients. He has incredible knowledge in the field of ophthalmology which he shared by his new research (maybe for a bit too long). But all in all a really nice guy and great doctor. Oh, and his waiting room is absolutely insane.

Pompous, arrogant, eccentric old man.
He was not willing to listen to me or others that I know that have gone to him. He insists on doing things his way and does not care about what the patient thinks.
It comes down to this: his ego or your vision — one will win, one will lose. You decide.
