Amazing overall. Dining space is a little tight I would recommend pick up during peak hours. However, food, service, atmosphere… all 10⁄10

Two words: Vodka pizza. It is the best damn vodka pizza I have EVER had. Their sandwiches and pasta dishes are also pretty good too. If you’re craving something sweet, I would definitely try their nutella pizza. Their delivery service isn’t great, but I won’t drop a star because of it.

Food: –Bread for table: Really good. Came out soft and warm. The butter underneath it was soft which made it easy to spread. –Rice balls: they were good. Im not a huge fan of rice balls but they were not dry like some i have had. Four came to an order and they were big. — Pizza: crust was a good mix of soft edge and crispy bottom. We got the margarita pizza with garlic: i thought it was good, my husband thought it was better than just good. Sauce that was used was tasty. — Da Robbie: it was okay. Service: good and very attentive

This is the best pizza around. I absolutely crave the meat lovers pizza; my mouth waters every time I think about it, including right now. All their pies are awesome and my wife speaks highly of their salads. If you’re thinking pizza choose Mancini’s and you’ll be glad you did.

Really good pizza! I love the thin, foldable crust. I got the pizza alla vodka. The vodka sauce was creamy and delicious and the cheese on top was super fresh. I didn’t like that wherever there was fresh cheese, there didn’t seem to be any sauce. I also wish that there were a lot more mushrooms. Next time, I’m just gonna order my pizza with extra sauce and extra mushrooms. I like it more than PJ’s — I think it’s closer to good old NY-style folding pizza.

If this was my local shop, I’d be pumped. I got a slice of buffalo and a slice of chicken-bacon-ranch. The dough was great, nice and crunchy and held the toppings straight. My only complaint, the toppings were a little weak. I didn’t taste ranch at all on the 1 slice, and the bacon was greasy. I probably wouldn’t drive the 20 minutes to get there again, but if I was local I’d be glad to just go here.

Thanks to Christopher K, Unilocal Bard of Central Jersey for the hot tip about Mancini Pizza. East Brunswick, NJ is a little out of my normal realm, but when coming back from Newark Liberty Airport last night, and famished from the extra hours at Terminal B waiting for friends’ arrival, the memory of Chris’ review flashed. Checking the address, we were about 15 minutes north on Rt. 1, and like a beacon we navigated down Rt. 18 and found it sitting in a small strip center on the southbound side. There was a short line of people waiting for tables. The older gentleman(Leonardo) approached to ask if we were here for dine in or take out. «Table for 3, please.» «Give us a few minutes and we’ll have one for you, sir.» Easy peazy. I used the intervening time to inquire of the folks in front of us on the line about the best of Mancini Pizza. The young woman waiting for her pie said only one word, «Margherita.» She was picking one up, and thought it the best of house. The guy in front of her was with a party of 12. He heard our conversation, and volunteered with knowing glinting eyes, «It’s all great, bro.» This unsolicited comment, confirmed that what was coming was going to be awesome — especially for my guests who had never eaten Italian food before, other than that Pizza Hut trash in Beijing(Apologies, Yum Brands). Leonardo came back within minutes and directed one of his Men in Black Tees to take us to the newly cleaned booth. Another dude brought menus and took drink orders. The goal was to maximize the shock and pleasure my friends would experience from a great first meal in the USA. Large Margherita Pie was a given. But, I needed an alternate bite and taste to play with their taste buds. The Cheese Steak Special seemed the way to go. A twist on the classic sandwich. Beef they understood, but nothing prepared them for its form and flavor. The pie arrived first, and was placed atop the portable stand in the middle of the table. It was still bubbling, and the vapors from the sauce, garlic and basil fogged my glasses, and set our salivary glands into overdrive. I distributed first slices and suggested a few shakes of crushed reds to maximize taste. I warned them to be careful with first bites, as the sauce beneath the cheese coat could flay their upper palates. Each was elevated with proud point unbowed. The crust was strong and its undercarriage nicely charred. Crunch! First bite brought the expected reaction. Their eyes widened with pleasure. Instant rapture. I joined them a second later. What a pie! Wonderful flavors of mildly sweet fresh sauce, garlic, mozza, and a slight tickle from the basil shreds. A crust that was made to only serve its cargo, delivered a powerful performance and crushing dental workout. Right down to the last bite of circumferential exposed dough ring, this pizza was unwaveringly excellent. The cheese steak became something of an afterthought in the onslaught that was Margherita. There was no need for an encore, and it was lost in the tribute to the lady of the house. Still, it was there demanding attention. So, I picked up half and took a big scooping bite. Smack. Chew. Swallow. It was also very good with the grilled onions and green peppers teasing the chopped beef into a secondary pleasure. I am sure that on its own, the Special is a happy punch in the mouth. But, this night belonged to Lady Maggie of House Mancini.

What can I say that hasn’t been said? This is by far the best pizza in Jersey and is the closest to actual NY pizza. Each slice is huge :). The food is made fresh daily and is always delivered to my job on time. When you walk into the restaurant, you will immediately smell the wonderful aromas of the many different types of pizza, calzones and etc. I am a classic pizza gal, where I love the traditional pizza… Pepperoni pizza is always my favorite! The staff are always nice and courteous. They get you in and out if you need to get out quickly for work. If you have not yet tried Mancini’s you are depriving yourself of one of the best pizzas in town or the state of NJ. I promise, you will not be disappointed!!! Wish I could give this place 6 stars :)

i received the food finally after 1hr and 7 min. Which is unacceptable… To say the least. The top of the pizza box was dented and pushed in which caused the box to push against the pizza. Also unacceptable. Overall the food was pretty good. i ordered a pie and vitos favorite sandwich. I wouldnt go as far as to say its new york quality good. Franks Pizza near bestbuy is still the best in town. However they dont deliver. Mancini’s Delivery service is straight garbage. I hope they see this and improve it. Wouldve been a 4 – 5 star rating.

Ok… I’m a New Yorker. I’ve lived in Jersey for quite a few years now… But I still consider myself a New Yorker. Now with that out-of-the-way, here’s my review of Mancini’s pizza. This place is as close as you’re going to get to New York style pizza, not only in this town, but probably in all of New Jersey. Now I don’t only want to limit this place to being a pizza joint, their food is great too. The one main item that I always get is a sandwich called«Vito’s favorite». –Holy crap you got to try that sandwich! My family loves this place and I do have to say for as long as they have been open, we’ve been ordering from them and we’ve probably tried every single thing they make… and none of us have been disappointed yet. — My son even likes their cheeseburgers(yes my son eats cheeseburgers at an Italian restaurant… What can I say he grew up in New Jersey and doesn’t know any better… I tried to teach him, but what a ya gonna do?!!) Whether you live in East Brunswick, or you are just driving through… Stop in, you’ll be glad you did.

First time back after re-open and I can’t say enough about this place. Great pizza done right – it’s that simple. And yes, this is New Jersey, where most pizzerias fail to come close to NYC standards. This place might very well surpass those standards and is indeed better than many NYC pizzerias. I took a pie home the other day and just had to take a photo of the pizza in the box – it was pure delight.

I came in for dinner post-fire and subsequently, post-restaurant facelift, so it’s only fair to update my previous review! First off, woaaaahhhhh baby does it look different in here. The old interior had a very classic Italian restaurant feel and was pretty similar in style to any other pizza joint with a back dining area that you’ll find in East Brunswick. You know the type — red checkerboard tables, an old school poster of Italy, same old stuff. The new interior looks like something that you’d find in the middle of the East Village or Williamsburg. The décor is super industrial — large wooden tables, white tile walls mixed in with exposed brick walls, bright red hanging ceiling lights. It’s nice and refreshing for a restaurant in the area, and I’m glad that they decided to take a different route with the interior. Although the interior has changed dramatically, the food hasn’t, and for that the people of East Brunswick and beyond are extremely grateful. The crowd at any given time on any given night definitely speaks for itself. Our party of six started off by sharing a signature vodka pie with mushrooms. The sauce is creamy and delicious and after one large slice I was already feeling full. After that we shared a couple of small things, and I had a piece of a chicken roll and a rice ball special. The chicken roll was pretty standard, but the rice ball special was outstanding and smothered in mozz and ricotta cheese and stuffed with meat and peas. You really can’t go wrong with anything at Mancinis, and I’m happy to report that they are back and better then ever! No fire can stand in their way!

Mancinis is back and better than ever! I work across the street and I can honestly say my coworkers and I have been stalking mancinis on q regular basis… Longing for them to reopen. I’ve had plenty of things off the menu including pizza… Salads are fresh… Everything is amazing… However the chicken alla vodka panini is a GAMECHANGER. I’ve actually had dreams about them. Yes. That good. They were PACKED with a line for tables today… I think that speaks for itself. East Brunswick LOVES mancinis and we’re happy to have you back!

For years I’ve been in desperate search for good pizza in the New Brunswick area. Well I finally found the spot, and it is Mancini. The restaurant itself has a very family atmosphere, which is apparent as soon as you walk in. That aside, it’s a sit down as well as take out restaurant. Though with any good pizza, you gotta eat it straight out of the oven. I had the large margherita pizza and it was delicious. They offered thin or regular crust, so we went with thin. The bread was perfect, the cheese was delicious, and the sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had. It had a sweetness to it that was incredible. With all this being said, I have had better pizza at a few places, but Mancini is dam good. The one thing I noticed is that the cheese on the pizza firms up within 10 minutes, after which the pizza loses a bit of its deliciousness. So eat up! Service is excellent, staff is upbeat and the overall vibe is that of a favorite hometown pizza joint. Best pizza in the area hands down.

This is how many of you will judge me: «He is a legit Newark, NJ dude, but ain’t lived there permanently since 1985.» Yes, you ain’t lying. HOWEVER… this NJ guy has sought-out, tasted, experienced the BESTOFTHEBEST everywhere. Everywhere as in NJ, NY, CA, VA, FL, Barcelona, Spain, Bodō, Norway, Japan, etc. I’m NOT untraveled is what I mean. I further visit family there often. The pizza here at Mancini’s is AMAZING. I put it up against any other NJ fave near NY you may have or in NY. I even hold it in higher regard than my favorite VA amazing-pizza joint: Fabio’s in Charlottesville, VA. Yep, good pizza exists here with our water! it is nearly impossible to really describe how good this Mancini’s pie is. Just give it a try and you will not regret it. (Coming from an experienced –pizza-eating-NJ former resident who has no axe to grind, or pizza joint to prefer).
