Hey, between the pizza, pretzel, Asian chow, tortillas, sushi and other food court fare, it’s refreshing to be able to get a custom spinach or lettuce salad with a choice of 15+ fresh, healthy customizable toppings for $ 5 – 6. Saving on some carb and sugar intake.. for tonight!

Beautiful picture of a Caprese sandwich showing a big thick slice of real mozzarella and saying ‘fresh mozzarella’. The actual sandwich? Paper thin slice of processed imitation mozzarella. Very deceptive. Not ‘fine foods of NYC!

Was hoping this place might have a good breakfast but I was sadly mistaken. The hash brown was hard as a rock and greasy. The eggs were overcooked and the veggies in the omelette undercooked. They just don’t care so don’t bother to come here.

Angelina’s is by far the worst thing I’ve ever had at an airport. Technically they are panini but not in the American sense. In this case it just means sandwich. No pressed bread. They take a sandwich made hours ago that’s been sitting in a cooler and throw it in an oven. It was disgusting.

Quick and helpful service. The sandwiches are not bad if a bit in-line with other airport pricing(they have to pay rent too ya know). If you have to eat at LGA, this is on the list by default since I don’t think neither burgers and fries nor asian food makes for good flight company. On this visit, it was a panini and croissant sandwich heated up and topped with fresh veggies. Ended up warm, not hot. Either the sandwich was not cooked through or the veggies were very cold as the center temperature was much lower than the rest of it. Like eating a stubborn Hot Pocket. Taste was okay, nothing spectacular. A star added just for the fresh veggies. Now, If you are coming from any of the boroughs, my recommendation is to fill up there on some good food at a good price. You can even stop by a food cart and get a gyro and pretzel while waiting for a taxi. There are plenty of places in Midtown and if you are coming from a borough, shame for not planning ahead. Again, sandwiches are always best so give it a try if all else fails. Also, bring your own water and drink before the gate. You can take food through, but no liquids and there is no need to pay $ 3.29 for a 16oz water when you have CVS, Walgreens, Duane Reade, etc.

It’s 4am and you need a bite before going through security at LaGuardia Airport. Angelina’s will be your savior at this ungodly time — they offer an array of sandwiches, drinks, snacks and more. The people serving me were surprisingly nice and friendly, which made it all more bearable. Sure, my bacon & egg sandwich on a roll isn’t the cheapest but at 4am, I’m sleepy, hungry and I don’t care that it costs way more than what my bodega charges. I know the choices are worse once you’re inside the airport so believe me, get your food from Angelina’s!

the saddest piece of food I’ve ever paid for was from this«metro market». A bacon egg breakfast panini was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten. It was a sad piece of bacon on top of two fake eggs between two doughy, cold pieces of bread that they pass off as a «breakfast Panini». My bf and I took 1 bite out of our sandwiches and threw it away. Save yourself the trouble and go to dunkin donuts right next to this place

Just kind of gross. Try their microwaved«fresh panini.» I dare you.

Overpriced airport food but with a relatively healthier offering than the surrounding restaurants. To be fair, this place does seem like the best option in La Guardia before security. I had the meatball sandwich which was a bit bland. In hindsight, I should have gone with the deli sandwiches which seemed decent from what I can tell from others’ orders.

This is the spot for overpriced, prepackaged, mediocre airport food. Sheesh! Really? $ 10 for the crappy turkey wrap? Time to go home!

Angelina’s Metro Market in the Central Food Court outside of Security is a pleasant oasis in a sea of mediocre and mundane airport eateries. Here you can pick up a fresh made deli sandwich, a veggie burger, bagels with lox, salads, soups, and much more. They offer daily specials, items a-la-carte, snacks, and beverages. Most of the items are high quality and much more healthy than most airport food options. I highly recommend this market. It is worth the trek from one of the other terminals, if time permits; you can take the free airport shuttle bus, and there’s no need to clear security to access this food court.
