Hampton Marketplace is a definite improvement over the prior store.
There is a good selection of items considering its a fairly small location. Parking here is easier than most places in town as they have their own private lot, and you can always park across the street in the Race Lane lot if their lot is full.
The food is always fresh, and the quality is excellent. The prices are reasonable for the area, which makes it one of my favorite places to get healthy takeout meals. They also can cook some meals to order.
The staff has usually been friendly and attentive.
Note that they are not a supermarket, more of a high end deli, so they close late afternoon.

The butcher shop at this East Hampton market is so far and above any I have ever visited.
Yesterday I was planning our Christmas Dinner and asked the butcher what he thought of doing a brisket. He not only went to the back to cut just exactly what I wanted,
He gave me his family recipe.
It is marinating right now and looks
Amazing.
What a great guy.
