Great service and no complaints regarding the food. The only thing I don’t like is the prices!

I used to like it here, but the last 3 – 4 times the service has been awful, tables are dirty and they are understaffed. The restaurant is empty tonight and we waited way to long for 2 plain cheeseburgers and fries. Not that difficult guys. Get it together. Not coming back until things improve.

To start off, I really like Smash Burger. I always order the crispy chicken truffle mushroom swiss, and it never fails to please. However today, I found a large. ant or something in my burger and immediately stopped eating. It can’t be from poorly washed vegetables since my burger didn’t have veggies, so I’m not sure… what might be the reason that it was there. I lost my appetite and my bf went to get the manager, who didn’t seem to have much of a reaction other than say «Oh wow. That is disgusting. That’s never happened here before.» Well. it is… right there. What do you want me to say?
He offered to give us a new burger, but I refused it since I wasn’t going to risk getting another ant burger. He then simply apologized and walked away. Not that I thought he would be able to do much more than that, but on our way out another customer stopped us and asked what happened. After explaining what happened, she said they should have given us a refund. We aren’t the type of people to make a fuss and a scene in public so we simply left.
I still really like the smashburger food, but I might not be revisiting this branch of smashburger anymore :(

Just had one of many positive experiences here at this EH location with my 11 yr old daughter, and she prompted that I leave a quick review :)
Ramon and his crew went above and beyond from the moment of our order to the clean up when we left. They were courteous, accommodating and most importantly, served with a smile even when they were managing tables clearly after the customers left. So with that said, we plan to continue to make this a go-​to spot for our burger and fries fix and kudos to a well managed team!
Clean facility, ample parking and good eats.

Came in when they weren’t busy. Found two employees standing there bickering and the other two turned their backs to us. One guy finally came over to take our order but continued to go back and forth with the other employee. I showed him a coupon on my phone and he acknowledged it so I took that to mean it was accepted. Later on looking at my receipt I realized he didn’t take the money off. The guy that brought our food put it down so hard I’m surprised it didn’t slide right off the table. They get three stars mainly because of the food. If you want good for AND good service go to the one on 46 in Parsippany. They are great!

Although the food is as one would expect of a fast burger place, we were surprised by how dirty the restaurant is; the floors were dirty with spills that hadn’t been cleaned up, the condiments/​beverage area was unkempt, and the amount of bugs and splatter stains visible in the hanging lights was disconcerting. It’s been a while since we were here last and it’ll be a long while before we return.

SB is a great place to have a good burger/​chicken with delicious fries.
This location was no exception.
It was a little messy and dirty but they were understaffed so it’s understandable. Even though it was busy, they were prompt and friendly.
We opted out of a burger and went with smashed grilled chicken. It’s pounded thin (as the name suggests) and to me is a step better than their burgers.
Avocado Club for the wife (Avocado, bacon, L, T, ranch on a multi grain bun).
Spicy Jalapeño Baja for me (Chipotle mayo, L, T Red onion, guac, jalapeño’s, pepperjack cheese on a chipotle bun).
Both were winners in our book! After getting the chicken many times, we may not go back to the burger… and the fried chicken wasn’t to our liking the one time we got it.
Smash Fries are enough for 2.
Less than $ 20 spent… score.
You order from the counter, take a number and go to a table. They bring the food to you. ENJOY!

It’s a nice location, everything about this place is awesome, and the burgers are delicious. However after I eat here, everytime, I get the worst stomach ache ever. I never know why, it’s so good! get the fried pickles!

Good burger. Way better than McD. Rosemary fries are cripsy and good… Give it atry.

To quote Jules Winfield, «That’s a tasty burger.» Always delicious burgers and thick shakes! But since everything is drenched in butter how can it not be good? Definitely not something I would go to often. (Unless I wanted to weigh 300 lbs.!) But when the family and I are in the mood for great burgers, this is where we go.

Let me start by saying I usually don’t eat burgers. On the occasion I do have one, it’s usually not from a fast food chain. Well I have to say I definitely enjoyed the cheeseburger here! The toppings were crisp and fresh and not over done. My husband and I ordered the smash fries too, and it was a nice complement to the meal. Also my husband remarked the burger was way better than 5 guys.

Solid hamburger… and a little pricy but a good burger.
Salads are ok not great. Chicken is ok also. I really like the mushroom burger with garlic mayo.
Onion straws very greasy oil floating at bottom of paper… should be able to drain this

First and last time ever visiting a Smashburger.
We arrive Saturday afternoon, all seats are taken but nobody in line. I ordered two bacon cheesburgers ($ 7 each), one order of smash fries ($ 2.29), & one bottle of water ($ 2.29 as well!?! VERY steep for a small water). The cashier was not paying attention as I am paying, so I get my receipt and go sit.
I’m watching the staff walk the food out to the tables, mindlessly walking around. I’m wondering how they know who ordered what? Eventually it dawns on us that all patrons have this number card standing up so the food runner can match it. Well, we never got one. So we are sitting and waiting — my husband goes to check up front, they say 5 more minutes. Two tables sat next to us after us being there for almost 10 minutes — and they both got their food right away. We’re still waiting. I’m wondering what the heck is going on? Turns out, the cashier gave out our number to someone else– so they got our food! The food runner was like «oh ok, i’ll be right back» — we are now rounding up on almost 20 minutes waiting for two burgers and fries! This is getting ridiculous.
We finally got our order — the fries are unbelievably thin. I was not impressed with them. The burgers were not even «just OK» — they were not filling AT ALL! The entire time I am eating I kept saying «5 guys is better» or «Wendy’s bacon cheeseburgers are better than this!» Seriously for almost $ 7 they could afford more than 2 strips of bacon — and the burger should be at least a quarter pounder! McDonald’s gives you a better burger than this!
Very displeased with our first AND LAST visit!

This was my first time at a Smash burger amd The whole experience was bad. Not only did they give us the wrong food, the cups they gave us were dirty and had food in them, and the entire place was gross. There was garbage and food all over the floor, tables, and seats. There was even a french fry in the light above our table! The food was also overly priced I would definitely not go back to Smash Burger again.

Help is very good but the place is sort of industrial looking and the burgers cost over $ 5.
Granted they are BIG burgers and come with a large tomato slice, a slice of red onion and a giant piece of lettuce and then you can add what you want (oh and a pickle lest I forget!). I got the classic smash regular size.
Tables outdoors to eat — sort of café tables with ketchup and mustard and napkins in a holder… it was a nice day so we ate outdoors yesterday.
It was a sort of higher end fast food place, but in the end, it was still kind of «fast food».

After it’s opening Smashburger was crowded. Although the food was good I decided to wait a while before returning.
I ordered a make your own chicken sandwich and a side salad. The sandwich was very good and satisfying. Although I asked for balsamic dressing on the salad it came with nothing. By then a line had formed and I decided it wasn’t worth it.
The issue here was the time it took from ordering my meal to receiving it. The time was about 22 minutes. I watched people come in after me yet get served before me. So much for their meal management system.
One very positive note, they got rid to those ridiculous plastic glasses. That was an awful move from the beginning.
The food is good when they get it right but be prepared to wait.

Went here for lunch on a Sunday and I’m officially a fan!
Décor: Fast food-​ish without the feel of a «McBurger Place». You order at the register and they give you a number so they can bring your food out to you. Get your own water or sodas at the fountain. But they have comfortable booths and the tables are far enough away from each other that you can eat in peace without the next table’s child shaking your half of the booth.
Food: The menu is all burgers (chicken and beef) and salads… but who eats those when you walk into a burger place?
1) They have really good THIN crispy «smash fries» which they top with salt and rosemary in a commendable attempt at bistro food. Really very yummy except they are greasy. I read some other reviews that complained about this but I was too hungry to mind too much and also… they were good.
2) They have pretty delicious juicy burgers. In my (humble) opinion, if you don’t do the standard lettuce-​tomato-​pickle-​cheese-​hamburger correctly all the other stuff you have on the menu is irrelevant because those fancy toppings are just masking an inferior product. I got the standard Smash Burger and it was delicious. Juicy meat, melty cheese, crisp pickles, and an egg bun that held up to it all.
Service: Really a non-​issue as this is more of a fast food oriented place. But the people were nice and there was a girl who was walking around clearing tables and asking people if they needed any thing else. We got there, ordered, and were eating within 5 minutes but there weren’t any people in line ahead of us.

The place was fast, clean with a really friendly staff. Management was really nice and the food was great!

I was hesitant about this place when it first opened up thinking why would we need another burger joint on rt 10 but i’ve become a fan of this place — the burgers are definitely better quality for the price, service is friendly, and the place is kept nice and clean.
The burgers are made fresh, they have huge salad portions, fries not so good — way too thin and not enough potato. Smashfries weren’t good either — too greasy from the oil, rosemary, and garlic that they season it with. Try the truffle mushroom swiss chicken burger next time you’re there — one of the best on the menu.

I’m a burger girl, and I enjoy smashing burgers from Smashburger (I’m so clever).
At Smashburger, the cashier always asks if you’ve been to a Smashburger before. Personally, I don’t necessarily enjoy answering the question, so I always say yes, regardless (I’m afraid of the lengthy response separating me from my food if I were to say «no»). The point of bringing this up is that the customer service at Smashburgers is excellent. I’ve only ever encountered very friendly workers at Smashburger restaurants.
As a burger girl, I can easily taste a «fast food» burger from a «restaurant-​quality» burger. While Smashburger is a fast food place, the burger they serve is of restaurant quality. I love the «American» cheeseburger.
The side dishes are delicious. Fried pickles? Sign me up! Fries with olive oil and oregano? Yes please! Onion strings? Hello!
Another thing, I love how the food is served! Your burger/​sides come in a cool metal tray holder thing. Modern and classy.
Helpful hint: the receipts always have coupons for discounts or free sides!
