Crest Termite Control

I was considering buying a house in Milford CT and there was a disclosure of termite treatment as part of the owners’ disclosure. The termites were exterminated but the house damage was unknown so I had Joe come for a termite inspection. He has being doing just termite work for 38 years and was extremely thorough; he is a sort of termite detective and took about 2 hours to go through the house and garage. Best money I ever spent because he saved me from buying a house with header boards completely eaten away plus a ton of damage in the garage. He developed and had his own design of an angled termite probe made and has sold it to the termite industry for the past 15 years. I thought that was cool and showed a level of professionalism not found with guys who just use a huge screwdriver to jab at the wood. His is angled so he could get into more nooks. I chose him from his website because I wanted a termite only guy who serviced Milford CT not a bug company that doesn’t specialize. He was prompt to the appointment and wrote out the report in the house so I left with a copy. The only thing I would suggest about him is that he might take photos to go with the written inspection and text them them to the client, I think it would be easy as they could be numbered with the same codes for house location as on his report. (I took pics with my iphone and was able to show my real estate agent his probe sunk into wood as if it were styrofoam.) But that suggestion is a minor thing; the important thing is that he is a termite expert and I wouldn’t buy a house without him inspecting for termite damage first.
