Foxon Nails

Great nail and beauty salon. I’ve been a customer for over 18 years. I won’t let anyone else wax my eyebrows. Loan is the owner. Loan and staff are wonderful. It is a family owned establishment. I’m not one to get falsies, but their nail art is top notch. Usually, I use their pedicure and wax services. On special occasions I’ll get a manicure. However like most nail salons it does get busy on the weekends, but worth the wait.

I went in today for the first time and I have to say I was quite pleased. This is the third nail salon I have tried in the area. You know what they say, third times a charm.
I was happily greeted upon walking in. There was a brief wait, but only about enough time for me to pick out a color. I came in for a gel manicure. They have a good variety to choose from including shellac and opi brand gels.
A young lady named «Hannah» did my nails. The technique she used to remove old gel polish was quick and efficient. She was gentle and thorough with my manicure. She shaped my natural nails very well and applied the gel polish perfectly. I asked her to add a second coat of the top coat polish for added strength. She happy obliged and didn’t even talk bad about me in Vietnamese to the other workers… kidding.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of price. All the salons in this area charge $ 25, so I understand the standard. I recently moved here from Phoenix, I guess the gel manicure is more popular out that way. Most places charge around $ 18.
All in all I had a very good experience here and will be returning.

I have been going to Foxon Nails for over a year now and I am very happy with my results. I had been going to the same girl since the beginning, but she has recently left and I now see another girl which I like just as much, if not better. They get their clients in and out quickly and do a great job. They get to know you, they learn your name so you don’t feel like just another person getting their nails done.
I have gotten a pedicure once, but I was not thrilled with the results and I’m not sure if that was my fault or theirs. The polish chipped off the next day. I should gone back but it was more of an inconvenience than anything else. I have also had my eyebrows waxed once, but that also takes longer than I feel it should so I stick to doing those myself.
I do enjoy this salon and prices are reasonable, $ 5 off if you pay in cash.
