Located downtown in our quaint little town of Niantic CT is the cutest little Hot Dog /​hamburger Place called O.P.‘s Place. Named after the owners grandkids this place is open 7 days a week. She has picnic style tables with plastic checkerboard table cloths that give it a real «throw back» flavor.
I got a Chili Dog on my way to the Ice Cream Parlor because I hadn’t yet had lunch and somehow I could justify a milk shake after having had lunch so there I was… It was really really good. Looking at the rest of the menu I will definitely come back and try some of the other fare.
I love these little hidden gems! Come here and support a local small business and enjoy some really good food. I did!

The food here is fabulous and the lobster rolls– yum!!! Prices are great and the people who own it couldn’t be nicer!
