This place sucks for birthday parties. Parties are automatically set for 25 people in the pool, we had 10 less than that. So turns out they lessen the amount of pizzas for the group. Why? Bc they are scammers. Not enough pizzas for kids to have 2 slices and parents to have 1. Ridiculous. It’s already bad enough that they already slice the pies in skinny slices. So they won’t adjust the price if I have less people, and they give me less pies.. Yet they ask you for more $ if you have more people and they have to order more pies. What they do, pocket the surplus? Will never ever go back here again. What a dump.

I did a mommy and me class here with Cory as our instructor. I was skeptical of having a teenage be our instructor (the main office is run by teens) but Cory was a seasoned diver and had positive energy. The class did have 6 other kids with moms. And there were private lessons at the same time, but I thought Cory was great
The pool itself isn’t so big. It’s inside NYSC. I wouldn’t come back, despite liking Cory. When we got out of the pool the air conditioning was unbelievably cold. The changing area was gross with two stalls and a small curtain. We couldn’t use the NYSC bathroom if we needed (unless you were a member and thankfully I was).

Really disappointed in saf t swim this year. We go every year and all the sessions are already full until July. It’s April. Girl finally confessed it’s bc they dont have enough instructors.
Sad my kids have to go a whole year without learning to swim.

My son has been taking classes for over a year. He has autism and loves the pool. He used to cling to me but after his sessions he cannonballs, plays rescue and floats. They have taught him life saving skills, the staff are pleasant and responsive. The water is always warm and regularly checked. Weekends are busy but take early morning classes, there’s still enough room. Each child has their own instructor. I love that my son can swim and have even more fun when head to the water parks and pools in the summer. They have open houses, catch one and just try it out.

I would not recommend this school to anyone who is thinking about signing up there. I enrolled my little girl (3 years) for one on one class with a 15 years old instructor. The pool was always occupied with older kids during her class who were rowdy and uncontrollable. She kept complaining that she is scared of the other kids being loud and splashing water everywhere. I told her to suck it up and ignore them. After the third class, she refused to go. When I asked her what happend, she said she doesn’t want to die. She said the instructor told her that if she doesn’t learn how to float, she will drown and die… what kind of bs is this? I admit that it’s partly my fault as i trusted the school and didn’t look into interviewing the instructor. I highly recommend choosing another school if you care that your little one learn to swim in a calm, clean, and well run environment.
