This place is a joke. The people who work there are just extremely rude and don’t care about their customers at all. I would order channa masala and sometimes it would come ice cold, like they just pulled it out of the freezer. When I had ordered VEGETABLE samosas(I clarified it with them) they gave me half chicken, half vegetable. When I complained, they refused to give me my money back. Frustrated that there wasn’t anywhere close to East Meadow where I could get samosas, I gave them another chance, and viola, they did the same thing. All chicken samosas. I came back, told them about the situation, and they just laughed at me like it was a joke. If this place wants to stay in business maybe they shouldn’t pick on their customers and purposely get orders wrong out of sheer laziness and carelessness. Do yourself a favor and take a trip out to Hicksville if you want to get REAL Indian/Pakistani food. Don’t even bother with this place.

Who will use more than $ 15 on a credit card? Never going back. 15 mins for the food to be ready takes 40 mins.

Major disappointment. This East Meadow halal spot cooks up some seriously bland Indian and Pakistani dishes. Started off with chicken sheikh kebobs which were spicy and very good. Continued with a completely flavorless daal and finished with a spiceless, flavorless chicken tikka masala. Service was a tad slow and awkward. There was one guy behind the counter who wouldn’t even acknowledge our existence. The guy who took our order kept walking away from us. Prices are low which is good since the quality of the food is pretty low. Definitely will not be returning.

Love this little little spot. Their food is always consistently good. My boys love their cheeseburgers which is far better than most halal burgers. Their zinger chicken sandwich is delicious as well. I crave the samosa chat every now and then because it’s very very flavorful and not overpowering with spices or heat. The best part is that they are are so affordable. Very inexpensive for great quality and delicious foods!

This place is amazing. They have the Hicksville famous Zinger burgers which they serve with masala fries for a whopping $ 4. Spice & Curry is owned by the same family as Gyro Spot and man oh man is their food delicious. Do yourself a favor and go to Spice & Curry and get a Zinger burger. You’ll forget all about BBQ Nite. Not to mention these guys have respectful service unlike the people running the poop fest over at BBQ Nite. Keep up the great work, Spice & Curry. #Customer4Life

For the price it can’t be beat. I’m a transplant from Brooklyn and I thought it wouldn’t compare to the Pakistani places we have in Brooklyn. The truth is not only is it better, it’s on a whole new level.

Nothing beats the price on this restaurant. Their burgers and desi food are all prepared fresh. If you’re an impatient eater, just call ahead of time. My favorite is by far their zinger burger with masala fries for 4 dollars! I would say that their zinger burger is better than the competitor’s zinger burgers such as from BBQ Nite or Aladin. The atmosphere inside is very nice with comfortable seating. I also tend to pick up Halal Rice Krispie treats from their attached grocery store as well. 2 for $ 1! It doesn’t get any better. PS: All their items are halal.

Save your time and money. I ordered here a couple weeks ago online and once I got to the place they didn’t have the necessary food to fill half my order. I understand food running out of food, but of the order I did get, it was cold. Decided to give them another shot two weeks later. I ordered and paid online, but once I showed up they told me they did not accept online orders. I had to contact GrubHub to get my money back. All in all, the food was mediocre, the service was horrible and there are just better indian restaurants to spend money at.

This review is not about the food but about the service. I did not actually get to eat any food here and I wasted most of my lunch break driving over to pick it up and arguing with the employee who had no idea I’d even placed an order. I am never coming here again! Grubhub felt bad for what happened and gave me a $ 10 credit to use towards a future purchase. All the food was premade and sitting on the counter so it’s definitely not fresh either.

What’s to like here: — I know my Indian/Pakistani food and this place has some decent food — very affordable — dine in or take out What sucks: — service, don’t expect any — food isn’t always fresh, had mixed experiences — ambiance, you’re better off eating at your home This place has been a hit and a miss so far.

First time eating from this establishment. I really wanted to enjoy the food. I ordered the food to go and waited 20 minutes with one person ahead of me. The person taking my order was friendly, I think that’s the only good thing about this restaurant. When I finally received my food I was not given napkins or utensils. I ordered the chickpeas and vegetarian samosas with white rice and had to throw everything but the rice out. The chickpeas and samosas all tasted bland and greasy. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place at all.

First time eating here and food was so fresh and tasty a must try for locals. I am a regular here now after eating for the first time here. I would recommend to come try this authentic design food. One thing I would recommend to be patient since everything is made fresh.
