Chuck and his staff have been so helpful to me over the past few months. I needed to buy a road bike and chuck sat down with me and and went through websites and magazines and we compared them together. The experience was unbelievable.
I have now brought two bikes to him to get tuned up and a purchased my trek from him as well. He made sure I did not leave that shop until I felt completely comfortable on that bike. It was wonderful.

I can’t say enough about this store. I was purchasing a bike for my grandson for Christmas and I went to Brands in Wantagh first. I told the salesman that my grandson had coordination issues and could not ride a bike without training wheels yet. He also had low muscle tone. I purchased a BMX bike there but realized that this was not the right bicycle for him. it had too far a reach from the seat to the handlebars. I immediately returned it. I called Adams and Chuck told me that he would not learn how to ride on a bike like that. He sold me a beautiful bike which I gave him on Christmas and because he had no confidence he insisted that we go back and put on training wheels. When we arrived, Chuck showed him how to glide with the bike in the store. He told him that he didn’t need training wheels and he was too big a boy for that. When we got home he took the bike out and did everything that Chuck showed him. Within an hour he was riding a bike all by himself with no training wheels. Thank you Chuck and Adams for taking the time to care, not only make a sale

I love this family-​owned bike shop– I have been coming to them since moving to the Huntington/​Greenlawn area since about 20 years on and off. They provide excellent service, reliable advice and their prices are fair.
I’ve never been steered wrong by them and I would recommend them highly!

I’m a beginner who had no idea what type of bicycle to buy. I went to big department stores and other small shops but I didn’t feel as comfortable as I did here at Adam’s Cyclery. The family is lovely and everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful. They explained to me which height, frame, brand, model and price will be my best fit and provided me with an excellent choice. On the day when I came to the store to pick up my bike, I already purchased a rack online. Adam patiently helped me install the rack while explaining how to do it next time myself. I really enjoyed every second I spent in the store, I highly recommend this family shop to anyone. I will 100% be their customer for life.

This was my second visit to Adams for repairs and tune ups. Chuck and Darren provided an extremely high level of service — as well as extensive knowledge and education. Turn around time was less than 24 hrs and pricing was extremely reasonable. A real pleasure to deal with and I look forward to returning… I would highly recommend them for any of your cycling needs.

I stopped by to get a bike for my granddaughter. Chuck sized her on a bike. We picked it up 2 days later, he showed her the brakes, gears. How to care for a new bike. Sized her a new helmet. I also got a car rack. Can only say the service was fantastic. We will go there always for our bike needs.

After checking out mass retailers to purchase bicycles for my 5 year old daughter and myself, I quickly learned that the staff had zero idea what they were talking about. I remembered purchasing my first bike from Adams Cyclery about 20 years ago and decided to check them out.
I will never go anywhere else again! Chuck is the greatest! Super knowledgable, was so patient and friendly to my excited 5 year old and couldn’t have been any greater at communicating with us what we needed to know about purchasing a «first bike» for a very new rider.
I am so happy we went to Adams Cyclery. It is rare to get such a personalized experience these days. Thank you Chuck for everything!
