You ate it in the 90’s, you had to have it on Friday night at the turn of the century. Then they closed — the Facebook statuses mourned the loss of the place we constantly ate, ran into friends both old and new, had first high school dates, hung out after ball games, bought entire teams there, catered food there before the big games, you’re friends out of town would reminisce about the stuffed slices, the huge Heros and the staff that became family to our Northport Town. I’m lucky to say that paradise pizza is so close to my job! They have such a phenomenal selection of specialty slices and a variety of dinner/lunch dishes to try. The chicken and eggplant are out of this world in every sauce and combo that I’ve tried, and it’s no secret that the garlic knots should be famous.

The new owners made the place look great and pizza was very good. it’s now called Vincenzo’s. I had grandma slice which was on point. They have gelato(didn’t try it) but it looked good!

Just tried the salad slice from this place. Have to say, it was the best salad slice I had in a long time. And the eggplant one is also great.

I don’t get Paradise. Perhaps because I am not from this area. To me it is bready pizza… not a lot of sauce or cheese. Ok taste, nothing spectactular. Slices at the counter usually look old and there is not a lot of variety that you find at other pizzerias locally. Ordered a house salad that included only iceberg lettuce and tomatos. Their heros are very good. Only had an entrée one time(chicken parm) and it was ok. No credit cards. No delivery. Customers refuse to park in available spots and clog up the drive in front of all the restaurants in this plaza. I think for those growing up around here, this place must hold some kind of nostalgia.

If you blink, you’ll miss the place because it’s in an odd corner but well worth the find. Don’t let the name fool you; there’s far much more than pizza. Their pasta dishes are outstanding and they have terrific garlic knots. I wasn’t a huge cannoli person, but that changed the minute I had one of theirs! Paradise Pizza is a must.

This place had, and seems to still have, an extremely devoted cult following in the area. That, coupled with the fact that the place only takes cash allowed the place to prosper and the tight knit family owners proudly show off their hard earned rewards. It also allowed the place to, at least back in my day impose a no delivery policy, which was virtually unheard of in these parts. This reputation and loyal customer base was not for nothing, and the place is simply one of the better pizzerias in the area. Its greatest strengths however, in my opinion lie not in its pizzas, which tend to veer more into elaborate specialty and stuffed concoctions, but in its«kitchen» offerings, pastas, heroes, Parmesan dishes, et al. The bread and meat to sandwich ratio on the heroes is always spot on. One house specialty that I find myself craving from time to time, usually when many miles away from my childhood home would be the«Penne Alla’ Paradise». Its really just a slight variation on penne all a vodka with more of a meat sauce base and the addition of mushroom, but when it is made perfectly(the place is victim to occasional bouts of slight inconstancy) it is a thing of beauty.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I believe it’s the best pizza place in the Northport-East Northport area. Besides their regular slices being great, you have to try a stuffed slice. My favorite is the stuffed chicken with ricotta cheese. The chicken parm hero is my personal favorite item. It’s a big hero that will keep you stuffed. If you’re looking more for a meal then order the chicken francaise with pasta on the side. Not only is is delicious but for about $ 16 dollars you have more than enough food for 2 people. I 100% recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is definitely off the beaten path but the delicious macaroni, pizza, rolls and salads are worth finding it. I will tell you paper plates are used and its fine with me bc they smile when you come in, service piping hot fresh and quality foods as well as thank you for your business… a must try

I’ve been raised eating paradise. It is the most phenomenal pizza in the area. Pasta dishes are great and heroes are great but regular pizza is delicious. Stuffed pies are the best including the ziti and buffalo slices. It’s nothing fancy when you eat inside and they don’t deliver but you can always count on Vinny to treat you with with the utmost amount of respect and courtesy. Whenever I’m away on vacation or at college, the first thing I do when I return to Northport is go to Paradise. The lunch special is super reasonable also!

My friend loves this place but I feel its middle of the road … not bad… not great… For East Northport try Filettos on larkfield road or venture in huntington and have little vincents

This place has been great since the day it opened. The interior still looks like an episode of Miami Vice, which only adds to its charm. This was the first place in the area with the«gourmet» pizzas and it has been owned by the same family since day 1.

I have been going to this hidden gem of a pizza place for years. I go there for one thing. Stuffed Ziti Slices. what this is is a two inch thick stuffed pizza with ziti, ricotta chz, some kind of meat, all under a thick crust. As bad as one of these slices are for you they taste like god smiled upon the owners and said here ‘This is how pizza is made in heaven’ As far as the other food goes, I have had some pasta and chicken parm which taste like any other pizza restaurant in the area. The regular slices are very good, but not as good as the stuffed slices. Fritelli’s are good there as well
