Bayside Delicatessen

Classic local spot, excellent LI egg sandwiches on rolls and occasionally bagels are available. The price is right and the service is quick and friendly.

This is not a real deli. I live literally a minute away from this place. It would be convenient to go here for breakfast or lunch but the food sucks. On numerous occasions i have found egg shell pieces in my breakfast sandwhiches, undercooked eggs, and always the wrong order. They always forget something. I havent eaten here in over a year, but my boyfriend decided to give them another try, and he’s completely done with them. He ordered an Italian hero, and ended up with 2 pieces of cheese and some lettuce on a hero. Complete imbeciles. They have one woman there who always has resting bitch face on, and acts like your annoying because you order something. The place looks dirty and is way over priced! The owner needs a wake up call big time. This place is a waste of money! jims deli located on montauk highway is always spot on and fresh.

This IS breakfast sandwiches done right. Good, friendly service; tasty food; orders are quick and correct. Love to grab Sunday breakfast here for my wife and I
Been coming here for years and only had one mistake (sugar instead of salt on an egg sandwich). Brain-​fart, everyone makes them.
Love this deli.

Food so far has been very good. I usually go to the Village Bistro on four corners but parking can be an issue there. This deli has a great parking lot perfect in stormy weather. I have not had breakfast but have had sandwiches which were very good.
My only con is the prices. I had a Turkey with cheese on Rye and it was $ 8.00. I think that is a little high. I can go to TJ’s and get a whole 1 foot hero for $ 8.50.
I will go back and try their heros though because i fleetingly checked the chalkboards and they seemed about the same price as my sandwich but with a little more to offer.
Lastly it’s cash only so keep that in mind if you go.

The best egg white sandwich on the best whole wheat roll. I’ve moved into Manhattan and am incredibly spoiled with options of food. Bayside deli still is my favorite breakfast sandwich, egg whites, swiss and turkey done perfectly, every time. The veggie cream cheese is legit too, fresh, crisp, and juicy veggies loaded into it. I miss this deli, you can’t find better breakfast. Maybe Bayside can teach some of the bodegas and deli’s in NYC how to cook some eggs.

This is pretty much where everyone from our local area goes for their breakfast sandwiches. Rarley do I go in there and not get caught up in a conversation with someone I know!
This is our local «go to» for deli sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. At a minimum we do a family breakfast sandwich order at least once over the weekend.
The service is always great and the breakfast sandwiches are always done to order.
I would recommend calling in your order so it is waiting for you when you walk in. They can get busy on the weekends during the morning hours.

Great sandwich for the price, staff was friendly. Can’t really ask for anything more.

A great deli! Great breakfast, lunch and coffee! Cool old fashioned country store like décor. Friendly and courteous staff.
