I got there at 7:25 and the sign showed they close at 8PM but they already had the doors locked. I won’t be back!

We have found our pizza home! The pizza orders were still hot when we got them home and delicious. High quality food and service.

The pizza is incredible. Why 3 stars? Well… it was the lunch buffet and I was really happy to see a salad bar available. Sadly, all of the lettuce had a beigish hue. Not brown… but getting there. So maybe I’ll change my rating if I go back and find green lettuce. But the pizza is really good. The lunch buffet is $ 9 and include fountain drink. Pizza runs scarce at times but they time the out coming pizzas fairly well. What would be awesome: signs w names of the pizza so I actually know what kind I’m eating and can order one for take out sometime.

I ate here on a Saturday during the moon hour. The restaurant was very clean and the food was a good value. They had a small salad bar but it was well stocked and had many different items. The service was good and the buffet stay pretty full although there was a good crowd. The restaurant has four types of pizza, deep dish, thin, New York and Detroit styles. I liked it all.

This was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life, we must have stopped in after the lunch rush but was trashed :-(I’ll never go back!

Love at first bite! My husband and I ate at Crust for the first time last night, and we were both very happy with the Detroit style. It was hot, cheesy, crispy, and the sweet sauce was delicious. Best pizza we’ve had in Peoria! To the reviewers who commented about servers: What’s the big deal if there’s no wait staff during the week? It’s a pizza! You can’t fill your own drink from the soda fountain?! They still bring the pizza and plates to the table, plus bus it for you when you’re done. Actually, I thought the staff on hand was very friendly. Our guy really went above and beyond for someone who wasn’t receiving a tip.

This is a three star restaurant given a 4 star review because it is the best in the area. But really, that is a comment on the pizza in the area(which is not very good). Those who are used to Chicago or even Champaign area quality are going to be generally disappointed with Peoria. That said, Crust does bring a good taste and consistent quality to the picture. This is an order-at-the counter establishment, placed in a strip mall. Those familiar with Firehouse Pizza and Subs will find much of the same fare here(with a few additions). I recommend the Deep Dish, I felt it had the most to offer.

We attend here frequently for lunch buffet on week day’s. Service is friendly and prompt. There has been more than a couple times that there isn’t much in the way of pizza and are left waiting for more to get put out; they do have unique options not just your standard toppings. They’ll make your fav pizza for the buffets if you ask as well! Good desert pizza and breadsticks as well. It is a bit space constrained in the food area when busy during lunch hours. Price is reasonable compared to others in the area and quality of food is good. Parking is adequate; only negative I can say is regarding having enough pizza out during lunch hour times which has happened more than a couple times there.

There for dinner — Four stars for the value. Pizza and breadsticks exceeded expectations, craft beers for $ 2.75 a bottle. Thought the value was great. Definitely sets up well for families. Service setup is a bit unusual but ours was great. Since it sets up so well for families I would suggest they have milk available. We will be back.

Brought in a large group of high school students on a Saturday to perform at Peoria Civic Center. Crust went above and beyond getting all 60 kids fed and out in under 45 minutes. Not to mention under budget! All Peoria hotels and restaurants comically over priced for our group($ 18 per kid minimum for pizza and pop). They came in at an affordable price. Kids and myself blown away by fresh ingredients and quality of product. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Manager personally came out to meet me and see that everything was to our expectations. Very clean, new atmosphere. Next time I bring a group to Peoria, I’ll be back. Any coaches, directors or troop leaders, look no further!!!

Folks I’m not going to lie to you. I’ve got cholesterol issues. The doctor’s helped me on that. I’m obese because I’ve eaten more than my fair share of buffays in my lifetime. Back in the 80s I put in on Shakey’s a lot. If there’s a place that’s close to that in my fat a$$ opinion it’s Crust. I went in at 11:00. I tried 8 different pizza slices before I left. I even had an Oreo dessert slice and a butterfinger. I saw the O so you know it wasn’t Hydrox. But you get in here and keep this business afloat.

My wife and I have made this a quick lunch spot. We have been here more than 5 times and the service is always friendly. The food is always hot. We get the lunch buffet because we enjoy the salad bar. We always come right when they open. If the pizza bar isn’t full they usually ask if there is a specific pizza we would like and make it. Also, Im more of thin crust pizza gal, when I noticed they didn’t have any on the bar I asked if they had any coming out and they said they usually don’t put thin crust on the lunch Buffett. They then offered to make one and put it out for us. They have always gone above and beyond for customers. My only wish is that they would replace the shredded lettuce.

We came in on a late Saturday afternoon so there was a server. The pizza was excellent. Large pizza selection with a number of different types of crusts including gluten free. We had the cheeseburger supreme and the delight on thin crust. They also offer a salad bar which was average but good. This IA a good place to dine in but a great place to carry out. We will be back.

My first visit to Crust for lunch. My dad and I got the lunch special that was pizza buffett, salad bar, and drink for $ 9.00. There are no servers here. The hostess explained that if there was something on the Buffett that I wanted, I could ask the guys in the kitchen who were visible on the other side of the bar. We asked for a cheeseburger and a chicken BBQ pizza. They were ready about 15 minutes later. The crust was hand tossed style and a little dry. The BBQ chicken pizza was loaded with way too many onions but overall, it had a nice flavor. The cheeseburger pizza had pickles on top and was pretty good. My favorite on the Buffett was a mac cheese pizza that was really tasty and fresh. The cinnamon sticks were terrible. Super dry and very little frosting drizzled on top. They also had a dessert pizza that had chocolate and butterfingers and it was just ok. Overall really dry. The salad bar had shredded lettuce and spinach with about 12 topping choices and 2 different kinds of salad dressings. This is a good place to go for lunch if you are in a hurry and the value overall was decent. Crust has the potential to be amazing but lacks a lot of finesse and finishing touches. Flavor is decent but the pizza is very very dry.

Was not impressed. Pizza was burnt, didn’t have much flavor(I’m glad they had Siracha at the tables though so I could give the pizza some heat at least). Pretty pricey.

Owner here. Letting some reviewers know changes we have made. Should have alcohol 2nd week of November. Changed some of the ordering process we now have waitresses on friday and sat. They will seat you and take orders and bring out your food. The soda is self serve, so you can get drinks as you want. During busy times it was getting congested at the counter to order. Our goal at crust is to offer quality food at very good prices. We listen to our customers and will continue to make changes as needed. The new concept in food service if fast casual which means order at the counter and the food is brought to you. Works great if not busy but not so great when busy. That is why we have wait staff on friday and Saturday nights

Came in today and had the lunch buffet. The salad bar was small in size but better than most. I’m personally not a fan of a sweet pizza sauce, so I wasn’t a fan of the pizzas with their regular sauce. I did really enjoy the bacon chicken ranch pizza and the dessert pizza. Overall a fairly good experience and reasonably priced.

Very Good! I ordered a Large thin crust Greek pizza with Ranch as the sauce choice. I ordered carry-out and my pizza was ready in 15 minutes. The crust was crispy and had good flavor. Toppings were spinach, mushrooms, black olives, and mozzarella. Also, little half-golden chunks of Feta were sprinkled all over to top it off. I can honestly say this was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I also ordered a half garlic bread which was notably crispy and not soggy like some of the other places. This place is in a great location with a brand new building. The people working were friendly and the place looked clean. Price is about on par with other pizza places in the area for what you are getting. This isn’t the online $ 10 any pizza Pizza Hut deal. Then again, if you can stomach the foodstuffs they call a pizza, more power to ya lol. Only negative was no delivery.

The pizza here is delicious and full of fresh flavors. We went on a night towards the end of the evening. We all ordered NY style. My honey got the cheese burger supreme pizza 8″, my daughter got the bbq pizza(no jalapenos) 8″, and I ordered the Greek pizza 12″. I tried all 3. The cheese burger pizza had mustard and pickles and was delicious. The idea it was«New York» style worked only in name. The dough was thick and floury, though tasty, it definitely was not NY style. The bbq chicken pizza’s sauce was very thin and vinegary… but the chicken was delicious. My pizza was the Greek pizza with olive oil sauce. The olive oil sauce was just that, thickly poured on olive oil. It was yummy… but very oily. The Greek was also supposed to include mushrooms, spinach, and feta cheese. I wasn’t able to see or taste any feta cheese and there was only spinach on 3 of the 8 pieces. It was still yummy despite the extra oil and mostly mushroom topping. The whole thing came to $ 34 including drinks. Things that would have improved our experience? The olive oil sauce being an actual sauce with some Parmesan, seasonings, and garlic thickening it up. Have that lightly brushed on the pizza, not thickly layered. The soda machine was a little dirty and in need of the nozzles being soaked and possibly the syrup re-calibrated. The BBQ sauce, instead of trying a Carolina type, would have been better served by some Sweet Baby Rays. We will definitely be returning to get some of the Chicago style, but definitely not reorder what we had the first time.

The way the restaurant is setup there should be servers. You walk in and you sit down seeing menus on the tables. Then you notice no servers and the only person is the cashier sitting down behind the counter. You have to get your own soda and salad. For the price you would think someone is going to serve you. Pizza taste good but could be better. less veggies and more meat. You taste the bell peppers in every bite but you’ll be lucky to taste any meat. Place is kind of boring. There could be a radio or tv. So you don’t have to hear every thing in the kitchen.
