This place is hooked to a gas station so I was thinking… I hope it tastes better than a gas station cookie, although I have had good cookies from a gas station… hello giant chocolate chip cookie from Caseys. Okay anyways everything we tasted was pretty dry and lacked flavor. Chocolate chip, oatmeal chocolate chip and pb with kiss in the middle. Not terrible but would of rather had something else. The brownie bar was moist but again lacking flavor.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I purchased a Strawberry Champagne cupcake and it was wonderful! They also have other pastries such as doughnuts and danish. Along with different rolls and breads. This is a quality bakery with a homey feel.

I’m surprised my cookies actually made it to my house. They were just right! Perfect texture and taste. I will be ordering a cake for my son’s first birthday and I can’t wait to write another great review!

I am very happy that Granny Goodwitch has opened in our area. She has wonderful and uncommon flavors of cupcakes and cookies at very reasonable prices. She went out of her way to reach me when my email filter blocked her contact info so that she could make a small (6 inch) round German Chocolate cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loved it BTW! Granny Goodwitch also delivers within East Peoria (she actually delivered to Morton for my company, too). I plan to use her for as many things as I can. I love this bakery.

Stopped for a morning pastry and coffee (ended up spilling coffee on myself, luckily I was only going to meet a client). I tried the cinnamon rolls. It was delicious, tasted fresh and homemade. You must stop by and try one, or one of the other pastries.
I also grabbed a dozen chocolate peanut butter cookies. I have eaten two, and mightily resisted eating them all before sharing. They were soft, sweet, and a perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate.
Again, it is required that you try of Granny’s cookies. Now, not later.
I actually did share the cookies. Four people tried them. The unanimous consensus was that they were amazing, delicious, possibly best ever. Still reading this instead of eating cookies?
