My daughter and I stopped in for a quick breakfast whike staying at the hotel. Youre not going to have a foodgasm here, but several Items were fresh and well made. I have had worse breakfasts and paid more… Staff is very nice. Have not tried lunch or dinner.

There’s nothing bad to say about this place. I only ever come here on Friday/Saturdays so I can’t speak for the rest of the days. On the two days that I do come here, they serve crab legs and prime rib! You really can’t beat all you can eat snow crabs for $ 19.99, at least not in Peoria. I find that the longer they sit in the buffet table, the more bland and dry it gets. Try to get it when they first bring it out onto the tables as that’s when they’re the juiciest – yummm! I don’t get the prime rib too often but when I do, it’s pretty tasty as well. Now I can’t really speak for the rest of the food there because I strictly come for the snow crabs. $ 19.99 gets you through the doors and includes a drink(Pepsi products I believe). They do have a full salad bar which is a plus! The 4 different servers that I’ve had here were not super engaging, but took care of me and all in a timely manner. As for ambiance, decorations… It’s all mediocre. It is connected to a casino that was once an active riverboat, now stationary. Update: They no longer serve prime rib on Saturdays, as I was told today. Only on Fridays… :[

Well, you can eat here, or you can eat at the retirement home with Grandma — quality will be about the same. Meatballs right out of the freezer with gravy right out of the can, steak cooked to death, fish as mushy as mashed potatoes… Bland, flavorless and uninspired. You’re out of peel and eat shrimp? Really? You can’t defrost another bag? I should mention that we often eat at rural casinos, and we don’t expect Vegas– style food, but this was like eating at a way-overpriced truck stop. Even the desserts were uninspired — the blueberries in the blueberry pie were actually chewy. We spoke to the manager who encouraged us to fill out a comment card, which we did, but I don’t expect that anything will change. We won’t be back.

Build your own omelettes, and brunch on Saturdays and Sunday was really good, everyone was really friendly and helpful :-)

My wife and I thought it might be nice to try out the breakfast buffet instead of eating at our hotel with the free breakfast. The price was reasonable @$ 8.50 on a Sunday. That was the good part. The pastries were the same we had in the hotel. The only good thing was the made to order omelette. The fruit was not fresh at all. It was from a bag and had to have been frozen before being put out. Are you kidding me? The yellow egg omelette already out(I think it was that), looked like a pancake that had not been browned. The corned beef Hash was out of a can as well. The orange juice must have been from a carton or from frozen. There are too many other«options» in the neighborhood. If you are really hungry get something at the gas station before coming here. It was so bad, I was hysterically laughing when we left. The service was good but they kept asking how everything was and I did not want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

All considered of a casino buffet, it wasn’t half bad. Sure, we only saw our server once, and a few«options» were less than desirable, but we managed to leave satisfied, and pleased with our decision. Salad bar, fresh turkey and prime rib carving, fish, chicken, pizza, and all sorts pastas, veggies, and a decent dessert bar filled out a majority of the list. Fairly typical of a smaller casino buffet, but well worth your buck. Certain days(and ages) offer different discounts, so plan accordingly and save a few for the tables. We haven’t hit the breakfast/brunch buffet yet, but I’ve heard it’s solid. Pending Peoria trips in the future… I’m sure we’ll revisit the Options(if its a Par-a-dice stay).
