I’ve been coming here off and on for almost 10 years now. Their menu items all taste fresh and of good quality. Some of the items are a little overpriced though. The wraps for instance cost way too much given their size. When I come here I usually go with the ham and brie panini or their chicken pot pie. My husband enjoys their ruben panini. Their baked items are always a hit as well. They have a shoo fly whoppie pie that is amazing. The seating area has a nice cute café feeling to it. Their coffee is also excellent. They have brewed coffee available in several different varieties along with specialty drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. The specialty drinks usually come out well but every now and then you can tell when they are training someone new as seen through the overall craftsmanship of the drink. I particularly enjoy the dark chocolate flavored drinks as its made with a house made ganache. Can’t go wrong with that. They also offer loose leaf teas for people who enjoy that.

East Petersburg has been our go to place for most holiday occasions. They have everything except seafood. Plus, you can go to the café inside for lunch, then go shopping. As we say in PA Dutch: Nix besser!

fantastic place for meats, cheeses and everything in between. if you love mustard or horseradish, you NEED to try the Long’s Horseradish mustard, hard to find, small jars, but look, try it with the polish kielbasa and you won’t be disappointed. we spent a small fortune stocking up for our trip back to NYC. thats how good this place is.

My car was getting serviced across the street so it was the perfect opportunity to come check this place out. A coworker had suggested I stop in here after she found out I would be in the area for my car. So glad I did! I didn’t get any food, but there was so much variety from a large selection delicious looking prepared foods to sandwiches that you can select to have made fresh to desserts and pastries of all sizes. For those on special diets there is a gluten free area and they even carry difficult to find items like Paleo Wraps. I did go to the café and order an iced latte and it was one of the best I’d ever had. Claudia is excellent at what she does and she made my almond coconut iced latte exactly how I like it. It’s the real deal with espresso, chocolate sauce, almond and coconut syrup(not too much because I don’t like it very sweet) and milk. I also went home with a gift for a friend who I will be seeing next weekend. The store has a great selection of gifts or things for the home, even if they are on the pricier side. Everything ranging from tea and tea accessories to chocolates to kitchen goods and aprons. Very pleased with the location too. It’s a great stop for anyone who has to wait after they drop their car off for service. It beats sitting around the dealership and waiting. There’s free Wifi here too. I’m a fan!

This place has it all. From the gourmet selection to the local flavors it’s a great place to have a coffee and bring home some fantastic cheeses. The staff is extremely helpful on top of it all. Fantastic spot.

Had lunch here today for the first time. My mistake. Should of listened to my friends and came much earlier. Coffee shop is great. Soup and sandwiches are wonderful. Some of the items are a little pricey but they have a great variety. Be careful wandering through the store because it would be easy to drop $ 100.00 on all the neat food items. I bought a licorice log from New Zealand and it was the best I have eaten. Soft, tasty, and real licorice flavor (sorry twistlers). All in all great breakfast or lunch place plus a great place to shop for meats, cheeses, and unusual food items.

Huge variety of local foods/goods, also bunch of pastries. They take order and make sandwich freshly and you can enjoy them at café corner beside sales corner.

My mom has been taking me here since before I can even remember. It’s one of the places I HAVE to go to whenever I’m in Lancaster now. Huge selection of meats, cheeses, and other food items. Great salads(I love the broccoli salad and some of the pasta salads). Lunch here is also delicious. They do custom subs, sandwiches, and soups. I’m a big fan of the turkey cheddar panini(comes with roasted peppers as well) and the ham, Brie, and apricot jam panini. So freakin’ good! Everything is fresh and homemade. You just don’t find places like this too often – I have yet to find anything similar in Pittsburgh. I guess that’s okay because it makes trips here all the more special.

The best place in LanCo to shop. Covers everything from traditional Dutch treats to cutting edge meats and cheese. Excellent place to buy good coffee, EVOO’s, flavoured and aged vinegars. The Café is a great spot for a Latte with friends or lunch with the family. The must have products include smoked bacon, whole or fresh cut smoked hams, scrapple and 5+ yr old sharp cheddar. 10 Locations in all, but this is the flagship store with exceptional service and products.

Great place has a big selection on everything from cheeses to meats and let’s not forget the amazing coffee bar in the back of the building. A little hard to find if you don’t know it’s there but let your nose help cause the coffee and tea aroma will you can’t miss… Also has a great sit and Dine area(but personally remember this where a jacket can be cold even though it’s inside) The girls and his that work there are a great bunch always friendly always helpful. For example I am allergic to onions and they went thru recipes for me to help me find a couple pasta dishes I could eat and when they served my food they were very careful even add they served it to make sure they seen no onions to.

S Clyde is a Lancaster County tradition. The best smoked bacon you will ever eat! The café is great to have a fresh sandwich and coffee, and the meat and cheese case is like none other anywhere near here. They have cheeses from all over the world, some pretty exclusive varieties. Some very traditional foods as well. If you don’t know what«souse» is, google it!

Great selection of cheeses and deli meats. They have a wonderful lunch special along with their regular lunch selections. On one end of the store is coffee and tea area. On the other end is the salt and oils. In the middle is meats like hams, bologna’s, breads and my favorites pies!

Taking your septuagenarian mother car shopping is an event that requires patience like no other, and the only acceptable course of action is to put oneself in a smiley food induced pink unicorn dancing on a rainbow prior to wandering on the shark-infested showrooms. Let them say blah warrentee, blah blah remote starters, blah blah service plan blah, I’m thinking about that paninni from S. Clyde. And a paninni worth mentioning it is. The daily special, ordained to be for me. Brilliance unheralded. Unexpected. Ham, peaches, and some exotic peach sauce I can’t recall. But the mmm… the palatial vibrancy… the freshness… this I recall. So also I recall the assortments of cheeses, especially one of a rasberry flavoring. Whaa? Yes. More exotic foods than i care to recall, or pay for, in this report. Freshness unparalleled. Tastes unexpected. Coffees and teas with all but a veritable cornucopia. Wilbur’s Double Cocoa coffee? Tempt my tummy with the tastes of nuts and wilbur buddies. No good deed goes unrewarded, but trips to toyota dealers do. The salesmen were forgettable, but lunch, no.

It’s all about quality with Weaver’s. They boast the most amazing selection of fresh meats, cheeses, subs, soups, sides & ready to heat meal items outside of Roots or Central Market. They also have some of the most unique food items as well and their super friendly staff will always let you sample anything before you buy, which is a huge bonus as some of their items can get a bit pricey. It’s tough to beat Weaver’s meat(and cheeses).

Back in the day when Kenny Mayne would scream: «Bring me your finest meats and cheeses», I’m sure that he wasn’t talking about Clyde Weaver’s offerings. But maybe he was because their stuff is the real deal. While I’ve never been to the home office in Dutchatopia Pennsylvania, I have been buying their stuff at the Allentown Farmers Market for years now and they have never disappointed. The prices are normally fair enough but the freshness and quality is always, A+.
