This place has an amazing tapas happy hour. All the item we had were delicious. My favorite was the tuna trio. Great prices. $ 4 tapas plates. $ 3 beers draft or bottle, $ 4 wine & $ 4 well drinks. It’s very nice and reasonable price wise. Go!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Has gotten much better. The $ 4 apps during happy hour are worth it, as are the happy hour specials. They do better when your group is smaller.

Giving them 1 star is being generous. Went there with family on Father’s Day. the food was very bland and the service was not very good. they would not even make a burger because it was on the lunch menu not on the dinner menu. When we Asked the manager about that she said it would be to much trouble they were too was laughable to us because there was only one other table sat other than us. never going back!!!

This is the second restaurant that is part of the Village Restaurant Group(the other being the recently open BigBowlsLittlePlates) and I am sorry to say we have been disappointed both times. We have been eating in all of Bobby Wong’s restaurants for a long time and honestly they have never been consistent with the possible exception of Tina Louise that is now shuttered due to. a fire.I ordered the Wasabi and Sesame Crusted Tuna. I didn’t taste any Wasabi although the Tuna was fresh and well prepared but I would have liked that little kick. of Wasabi. Not much flavor on the Sesame noodles either. I am guessing since we are here on a Holiday(Memorial Day) that the B team is working and based on some really excellent meals inn. the past we will probably give them another try. Our server was very good and did her best. If there is a marked improvement on a return trip I will upgrade my review and rating

This place was so gross my boyfriend and I drive by all the time and the place always looks packed(there smart there is a room where the bar is that gets packed witch allows the restaurant to look full) but it’s not there are other rooms behind that are empty. So anyway there was lipstick on my napkin food on my fork and the food was so nauseating that I had to send it back they asked me if I wanted anything else the answer was no nothing else. That’s how grossed out I was the manager only took 50% off of that item on our bill I didn’t even eat it they should have taken the whole thing off. We are never going back there ever gross

Less than good. I asked for a filet mignon steak medium well and butterflied. Came out well and cut in half! Waitress was nice but not well versed in the menu. I would consider another place without question. Even the vegetables were under seasoned and over cooked. If you don’t have a refined palette you will think it’s ok.

Came to Taos Wok and Bar after work one day to meet a coworker. Sadly, their happy hour special does not apply on Mondays, but reasonably priced! FOOD: I got the half order of ribs. The food was pretty so-so. I did not find the meat to be flavored very well or quite that memorable. Looking through the menu, the place is not very specialized and all over the place. I wish places would focus on a type of cuisine, but Taos definitely is all over the place. SERVICE: Pretty good and the drinks came, but nothing to rave about. I would say the options on tap were sparse and the food was so-so, but with the low price, I can see the appeal for this place for some, but for me, this place is a pass.

This place is atrocious. went here about a year ago and ordered the scallops and wound up puking in the bathroom not 5 minutes after finishing the first one. Service is also horrible as they could care less about customer service. WONTBECOMINGBACK. they need to get rid of the food all together. perhaps make it a bar/club.

I just took my office staff out for happy hour tonight. Tapas we’re great, menu was very extensive and the drinks were great. Décor and atmosphere was really nice too. I will be back for sure.

if you have limited time for lunch this place is NOT for you. They take pretty long. Even the drinks took long to get. I was shocked since it was lunch time and it wasn’t packed. I think they need to hire more people. food was ok.

Food is mediocre at best. I got the pupu platter which had dry steak, bland baby shrimp, wontons that look like baby food was poured over it, fish egg roll and sesame chicken. I’ve had better food at our local Chinese take out place. Service was good and drinks were good though. Worst part was when we were walking out there was a waiter that took food off my plate and ate it from behind the partition. I called him out on it and he said, «that was my plate» I laughed and told him that was my plate they literally just took away. That was the icing on the cake. Sadly, we won’t be back.

I’m from Philadelphia, in this area working. I stumbled across this place walking down the street. On Sunday’s they have an all day happy hour which mean $ 4 select sushi rolls and $ 3 beer! The staff was friendly and the bartender chatted with me a bit. The sushi wasn’t nearly the best sushi I’ve had, but @ $ 8 for 20 pieces(each roll comes with 10) who was I to complain? If you’re looking for a cool place to hangout for cheap, this is your spot. Also, the liquor selection is impressive.

Came here for dinner with a friend. She was paying or else we would have ended up somewhere else. She had the fish that was served on a cedar plank with steamed vegetables. For 21 $ you’d think it would be a larger portion. Her fish was mostly tasteless and the vegetables were overdone and a bit mushy. I ordered the wok fried whole fish with a hard crust and sichuan sauce. It was delicious! A bit pricey at $ 23 but can’t complain about the taste. The skin was crispy and the sauce thick enough that it didn’t make it soggy. I asked for it extra spicey and actually got it. Usually my request is ignored. I was happy The wine list was so so… just average. The service however, left a lot to be desired. The waitress was sweet but slow and messed up the app orders, she stood around talking to other servers while it was obvious we were trying to get her attention. I’d come back for the fish but nothing else.

Service was extremely slow. The table next to us arrived about 15 mins after us and they were able to order and eat their food before we got our drink orders in. The waitress didn’t even know the specials written on the menu which was a complimentary appetizer soup or salad with entrée purchase. The food was extremely salty, and given the description on the menu, the food barely tasted like what was described. For instance their New England clam chowder actually had no clams in it. And it didn’t even taste like a clam chowder. I also ordered the wasabi crusted tuna with sesame noodles. The tuna is the driest I’ve ever tasted, and I’m a seafood lover. I actually just tried to dip the wasabi tuna(it doesn’t taste like wasabi was ever near this fish) into my New England clam chowder, and I must say it didn’t taste any worse. It didn’t taste any better but it didn’t get worse. This is a disgrace for a $ 27 fish I would literally much rather run to McDonald’s and get myself a filet o fish. I’ve never been so upset with a restaurant, and I used to serve as a waiter and I always try to give restaurant the benefit of the doubt, and I also try to write atleast one good thing about the restaurant but I honestly can’t find anything good. the bathroom is kind of nice I guess. Edit update. The sink is cool but no papertowels in the restroom. The check was incorrect. Two items were right but there were four alcoholic beverages were added(we had one red wine). They said they are going to update it and I have been sitting here waiting for 17 minutes.

Let me start of by saying this place is NOT good for groups. I repeat, do NOT come here with more than 4 in your party. My husband brought me here to have a surprise birthday dinner with my friends(group of about 17 people). He heard ‘good’ things about this place so he decided to make reservations. We came here on a Wednesday night, which wasn’t busy at all, but I guess for some it was since they had to serve a party of 17. Let me begin by talking about the staff: First of all, it took our FIRST waiter at least 10 – 15 mins to get drink orders(alcoholic). He didn’t have problems showing how frustrated he was to have to serve such a large group of people. After our group received drinks, which wasn’t even specialty drinks, we weren’t waited on until probably another half an hour later. This time, it wasn’t even the same waiter. We ended up getting a female waitress this time who was much more attentive than the first male waiter was. She got MOST of our orders correct, with the exception of one friend who didn’t get her salad until everyone was done with their meal. While her salad took forever to come out, it wasn’t even the right salad. At this point, our male waiter comes back and argues with my friend that that was the salad she ordered and it was the same one as her boyfriends, in which my friend replied it wasn’t because both salads tasted AND smelt differently. My friend ended up canceling the order anyways to make their lives easier. FOOD: I had the Duo of Chicken which was grilled chicken with black bean sauce and chicken in some kinda orange sauce with brown rice and veggies. My plate was pretty decent, if you don’t count the saltiness in the chicken with black bean sauce. Although my plate was good, I can’t say my friends thought the same. Their New England clam chowder came out in a bowl you normally put French onion soup in(again, very salty). There were a lot of appetizers that were ordered from pork dumplings, to fried calamari, which all my friends complaint were salty. One friend ordered this wasabi tuna thing which looked and tasted bland and dry. Overall, I can’t say too much about the food but it seemed salt was a MAJOR ingredient in everything. CHECKPLEASE: Normally when you’re in a large group, SOMEONE is bound to ask for separate checks, this includes our group. Most of our party wanted separate checks, which was inconvenient on our part, but many restaurants we’ve been to that serves large groups were able to do it with no problem. Our waitress(the female) told us she wasn’t allowed to separate checks for individual couples due to their company policy, which was fine, so she ended up separating checks in three sections of the group. Unfortunately, she didn’t do this so eloquently in which she placed orders all over the place. This took about half an hour to do, which she messed up. Then it took ANOTHER half an hr to get the checks correct. The only reason the waitress ended up coming back was because someone in the group went looking for her. For those reading this review, please note this is not a biased review because it was MY party that went who had a bad experience. No one in my party had ever been to this place and based on the service we received tonight, no one was ever going back. Although there were other people at the restaurant, the two waiters serving that small section of people were extremely flustered and showed obvious frustration. Our female waitress DID apologize for the mix ups by saying she’s never served that many people before, which led me to think if you’re staff is inexperienced with such a large crowd, why take the reservation to begin with? I really do NOT suggest this place to anyone who’s planning of having 4 or more In a party. Two people is already too much for them to handle, let alone 4 or 17. While our group was large, no one in my group was an a*hole about anything until the male waiter started showing his frustration by slamming on the menus, RUNNING to the bar to get REGULAR beers, and ARGUING with my friend about how her salad was the same as the other when my friend tried BOTH salad next to each other. Like I said, don’t come with a large group, and don’t order too much food because the staff clearly can’t handle it.

I love this place! I have never had a bad experience here. My husband and I like to sit at the bar and have ‘small plates’ — delicious, great price. We came here a few weeks ago and I had«THEBEST» Margarita I have ever had! Better than any Spanish restaurant I’ve been to. Their Sangria is awesome as well! I wish other people didn’t love it as much as I do because it can get VERY crowded with an after work crowd during the week and Fridays.

Definitely found my new lunch spot! I’ve been here twice and both times have been great. First off, who doesn’t like a complimentary beer with their lunch? I’ll take it! It’s just one per lunch order, so don’t go walking in, thinking it’s a drink-your-face off challenge or something. They definitely got me hooked with that free beer doe. Honestly, I know it’s an asian-fusion place but they have a lot of stuff that’s not asian-y or fusion-y. I’ve had their pulled pork burrito and the 6 oz. burger and they were both awesome. To start, the bread that comes before the meal comes with 2 oils and they amazing! One spicy, one tangy, both amazing. The pulled pork burrito had some unusual hot sauce, can’t remember what it was, but it definitely made the burrito. I don’t think it would’ve been the same without it. Next. the burger… They say it’s a 6 oz. burger but looks and feels like an 8 oz burger. It comes with 3 complimentary toppings(BACONISONTHELIST) with lettuce, tomato, and onions as standards(as it should be). They have an option for sides, but I stuck with the traditional fries. Burger got a little messy, but only because of it’s massive size, no complaints here. The service is great too! very attentive bartenders and servers and the food comes out really quickly. Taos has answered the age old question of: WHAT’S FORLUNCH?
