If you are thinking of using this attorney in NYC I would suggest that you find someone more familiar with NYC regulations. This firm might be very good in Suffolk County however, in NYC we were not given the benefit of the best advice. In addition, after being paid in full, correspondence from my 89 year old father has gone unanswered and to his knowledge all the work he paid for has not been completed. He is still waiting for documents he gave them to be returned. We got an email in December stating that they had applied for Medicaid effective November 1st but we subsequently discovered the written request was made for December 1 and they checked off a box stating that my father was not requesting retroactive reimbursement, leaving him with exorbitant health aide and other expenses for December. We have now had to appear at hearings and are still awaiting the response from Medicaid in this matter. When my father wrote to Nancy Burner regarding showing the proof of the email she decided, after being paid in full, that she could no longer represent him. I also posted on their Facebook page but they removed my post. I wish we could give zero stars.
