This place is so serene. So much wildlife. So much geology. Last time I went trout fishing and caught 15 in under an hour. Beautiful hiking. Got to see three bears and many deerand Coyotes. Careful though, as Sasquatch do roam the area. Pretty sure we heard them.

This campground is at the very south eastern tip of the Sequoia National Forest. I was the idiot tourist who thought the giant sequoias were everywhere… not the case. If you are looking for the sequoias, you can either go to the National Park or google different groves I ended up going to Trail of 100 Giants. We stayed in a tent site, near the river. The site had a picnic table, nice shady tree with flat ground to put our tent, and a fire pit. THAT’S ABOUTALLITHAD. 1. no showers. 2. no garbage service-bring out what you brought in!!! 3. no electricity. 4. one water spicket to share with other campers. This is camping!!! Nowhere near the city! Bring everything you need! The bathrooms are dark at night. bring a flashlight.
