The coffee is extremely strong. I even asked the waitress if ir was fresh? She said yes and that was the way it was. I couldn’t drink it but I guess that was my problem. Omelet was ok but the hash browns we’re extremely bland. Prices were reasonable, but small place so everything seemed loud. I don’t think this place is worth a second try I won’t be returning.

Stopped here many times and never a problem except the coffee has always been lousy. Stopped recently and the coffee was good but my food had a distinct«urine» odor to it. Not sure why but it was there. Never again.

Breakfast was great. Go hungry portions are generous. I had the eggs Benny Florentine and my husband had an omelette. The coffee was a bit strong. Service was good. Seems like a local favorite.

I came here just to get some waffles. Notice that there were pictures of waffles on their Unilocal.Turns out, they don’t have any waffles. Thanks guys.

Had breakfast there the other day and my omlet was made perfect. Friendly staff. Recommend to all. Will return again and often.

I sometimes kick myself after going to Unilocal to find a place to eat when I’m on the road. I have a laser focus on what I want and typically scroll through photos to find it. Landmark was a stop of the road out of necessity. We were dying for food and I had my heart set on eggs. Breakfast looks amazing here, but it isn’t served for dinner. I’m sure one of my fellow Unilocalers already wrote about that. :kick kick: Oh well, I ventured on a limb and ordered the Parmesan crusted salmon with mashed potatoes and a salad to start. Awesome and unexpected! Tasty crust on the fish and potatoes had a little texture — just the way I like it. The salmon could have been cooked just a little less, but I like my meat questionable so take it for what it is. My friend had a perfectly medium rare steak with potatoes and gravy… kept him happy for the rest of the drive. We had a great time eating at the bar and meeting some locals. Learned that mostly everything is made in house-including the vinaigrette I had on my salad. While it started with a disappointment, we ended our day satisfied.

The staff was very friendly and so were the owners who took time to talk with us. We will certainly stop here on our next trip through the Pocono’s. Great people, great place and very friendly. We were surprised by the great food and service at this restaurant. We arrived at an odd time; around 3pm. We were greeted in a pleasant manner and seated where we wanted. I tried the local beer, at the suggestion of our waitress. It was very good. After a short discussion, we ordered our meals, which turned out to be just what we needed, tasty and light. I would like to go back sometime for a full meal.

Great food, really nice place and super friendly people. Bathrooms are nice and clean too. Home made soup was sausage and bean and it was great. They slice fresh turkey for the sandwiches instead of lunch meat.

Waiter was rude and was not knowledgeable on menu items. It was extremely an unpleasant lunch. Btw if you order the 8.00 salad they will only give you one tomato. Never again !

Basically I walked into the Landmark Resaurant(alias Landmark Café) half expecting to be mauled by a white trash Marshall’s Creek cult of regulars… that didn’t happen as I’m still alive to review it. This place was so tiny so we decided to sit in the corner which is basically the whole room. The quality does not match the prices unless you order the specials. My steak was average while the more expensive chicken was pretty awful. I probably would not give this place another try. And I’m glad to be alive to say it.

There are better options down rt. 209. Small portions, mediocre food. The *soft* scrambled eggs I ordered came out like a well done omelet and it had a few bits of onion in it!!! It was like they didn’t clean the grill before making it. The bacon was tough as leather. The kids meals were tiny. Can’t say I’d go back willingly.

Great lunch stop! The service was friendly and quick, everything was homemade, prices were reasonable, and the side salad was very fresh. We were definitely impressed and will stop in next time we are passing through!(It is also very convenient for I-80 and a great alternative to the chains.)

Yuck. Dirty, smelly bathrooms. So so drinks. Steak was overdone and chewy, not tender at all. Place needs renovating. Will not be back. The search goes on for a good restaurant on 209 in that area.

This is actually in East Stroudsburg, PA in what is called Landmark Center. Under new ownership as of this week. Had dinner here tonight with a group of 8. Small quaint restaurant. Clean, staff is very friendly and inviting(Bill is Great). Our order was promptly taken and drinks delivered. Our food was quickly brought to the table all prepared as ordered, a party of 8 with no complaints and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the respective orders from a burger that is substantial and looked scrumptious to the Veal Marsala which is great. A real sleeper in Monroe County serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I read the reviews online and was looking forward in having a nice breakfast… however, my husband & I both thought the food is just average diner food. He had sausage gravy w/biscuit and I had steak & egg. Nothing to be rave about… not bad, but not worth driving more than 30 min. to get to.
