Sam’s Club-Members Only

Sams Club, know Service Department! You can call and be put on hold for and hour and the Person at the Corporate office has less knowledge then the Associate at the Store that transfered your call to them! Sams Club is a joke for Customer Service and any Kind of of Customer service Help bat the Main office. Great Company terrible support for any concerns from Cutomers!

If you are looking for a replacement for Costco… this place does not compare.
If you are looking for a replacement for BJs, this may will suffice.
In terms of the comparisons, Costco wins out by far in terms of both price and variety. However, when you compare with BJs, they both have their ups and downs. Sam’s club offers some products that BJs does not (mainly in the prepared foods sections). Price wise, it is about the same as BJs.
Staff here is very clueless about where anything is. Bread here (the chiabatta rolls) give new meaning to suck. They go stale after 1 day and are already hard as rock in the corners when they are made. Either they are purposely selling day (s) old bread, or they do not know how to bake. I would avoid any of their bread baked goods. Their pies/​deserts on the other hand are quite alright. Try their pies, they are not bad.
While I don’t like most of Sam’s club, they pretty much offered a free 1 year membership with their coupons that come out 2 – 3 times a year (for $ 40, they give you $ 25 worth in goods and $ 20 gift card). Like I said, pretty much free membership. I don’t shop much, but whenever I go to costco now, I give a huge sigh for how bad Sam’s club is compared to Costco.
That said, this Sam’s club is located right on Erie Blvd and is right next to the Han’s Oriental Groceries, so it is convenient to hit both my standard and asian groceries in 1 trip.

Brought my car in for snow tires at 10:00 am and was told it would take a couple of hours, well 5 hours later still not done! When I inquired how come my car was in the garage and no one was working on it, I believe the manager (large African American man) caught an attitude and looked me up and down, and said it is being worked on the guy working on it is in training! Funny shouldn’t have he been trained before working on a car alone? Never again these people are VERY VERY unprofessional and rude in particular the African American gentleman! Believe me shop around before coming here… lazy, unprofessional, and your treated with disrespect if you utilize their tire and battery service!!!

Costco is coming. Watch out. Hire some useful staff. Some employees are rude and nasty. Trust me u guys are not doing me any favors. I guess these guys hire anyone to work here. lol

If you’re moving here from an area with a Costco, and think that this Sam’s might be a reasonable alternative, you’re probably wrong.
The frozen food is all 20−30% more expensive than at Costco, the fancy meats and cheeses suck, and the beer is regular supermarket price. Trash bags and shit like that are a decent deal.
Normally I recoup the Costco membership fee from frozen chicken breasts alone, but the frozen chicken breasts here aren’t individually wrapped — freezer burn city.
If you’ve got a family, it’s probably worth a membership, but otherwise, fuck it.
