Good food, friendly service, fun place. What more can you ask for? Rain or shine, you’ll be happy you stopped in.

Gross food, undercooked chicken sandwich, lemon aid that tasted like watered down dishwashing detergent. Soda was just as watered down! Waitress ate a meal in plain view of everyone right at the bar. Then waited on tables picking food out of her teeth with a finger! WTF?
The interior is dumpy, dirty with every chair ripped and dirty too. Not kid friendly! Many drunk locals at the bar, who don’t have a problem staring at you.
PLEASE go out of business. Let someone with real $$ to spend on a great cook and redecorate the dump!
Obliviously won’t go back. Did I mention the parking is a joke?

Mixed emotions about my rating of this place as I’m in between 2 – 3 stars. This was my 2^nd time here. Both times the wait staff was extremely nice. The first time I sat outside and had a delicious mushroom swiss burger. Therefore I wanted to come back again. The 2^nd time though I noticed the stench from inside the bar– kind of sewage smelling. We also ordered calamari. Once again food was delicious so compliments to the chef, but the price for the serving size was pricey! It was around $ 10 for 10 little calamari french fry size sticks. Along with that the drinks are outrageously expensive! They’re priced like downtown Milwaukee– and we’re not even close to downtown! It was $ 10 for a double tall captain and diet vs the normal $ 6 everywhere else and the drink was hard to decipher with a charge of $ 5, $ 1 for tall, $ 1 for captain, and $ 3 for it being a double. Don’t think I will drive back there again.

Waited 20 minutes and never got waited on. So we left. It was 6:45 pm and not that busy. Poor service.

My husband and I went for a fish fry. We were really looking forward to a great dinner sine the new ownership is a well known name in the restaurant business.
No issues parking and a very friendly welcome.
A very young waitress served us. There was no wine/​beer/​drink menu at the table.
We ordered our drinks and waited. The waitress came to take our food order and we pointed out that we didn’t have our drinks. She apologized and a few minutes later our drinks arrived.
My husband ordered fried cod and I ordered the baked «Hancock «. That is what the waitress said.
My husband’s cod came out within ten minutes and I sat there with no food. The waitress came and took my husband ‘s plate to stay warm.
When my plate came out huge disappointment. It was a slab (looked frozen and tasted that way) of fish swimming in liquid and a very pale piece of bread.
The homemade chips were the best part of the dinner.
No coke slaw, no rye bread.
The worst fish fry I have ever had.
At the bar was a very loud mouth obnoxious drunk that was using the F bomb despite people have dinner and small children there.
This place has to decide if they want to be a local bar or restaurant.
I am a local and will not go back.

Went here based on the reviews. Don’t know what happened the night we were there but it took an hour and 15 minutes to get 4 hamburgers. Great views and beers outside watching the sunset, but an hour and 15 minutes waiting for four hamburgers is pathetic. The owner Pete was beside himself and comped all our meals. He promised next time it would be better. I’ll give him one more chance.

Went with my wife on a date and thought the food was very good. The mushroom appetizer was great and my burger was juicy and cooked right. The ambiance was more bar-​oriented than restaurant but it did have a great view of the lake.

Stopped on the way back from a Saturday morning trip to Milwaukee. Stacy was tending bar and taking orders. She was so friendly and very cool.
The Bloody Mary was good-​maybe a little over priced at 10 $. But the mushroom and Swiss burger was really, really good and worth every penny. Definitely swing by this little bar for the burger and the excellent lake view.

Pete has brought amazing cuisine to lake beulah. Not only is it BEULAH’S best view of the sunset but it can be enjoyed with a nice happy hour. Great tapas on Thursday and date night 4 courses saturday. BOTH with GREAT music from well known locals.

Excellent — I went here and had soup, scallop appetizer, king crab legs, pork tenderloin and cheesecake for desert. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The service was top notch and the owner and chef came by to see if I was satisfied. It was a great dining experience and I will certainly be back.

Gotta love dockside! Now that Bob is back and Pete brings the Ballisteri traditions to Lake Beulah, what more could you ask for? The bayou pizza is a must try, the burger is great… but my favorite by far is the basil chicken sandwich. All of this with an uncompromising view of Lake Beulah. Nothing in the area comes close to comparing.

Delicious – Relaxing atmosphere, and good people. Had an Amazing Bloody Mary and incredible balsamic garlic aioli with our shrimp cocktail –a little pricey but not out of line – you get what you pay for:). The menu is obviously created by someone who understands the balance between gourmet and tasty!

Just had the baked cod tonight. Now I like to believe that being a true Wisconsinite through n through that I know a good fish fry. This place does not offer that. The fish was decent but the coleslaw was tasteless minus the slight ginger taste. The best part may have been the pineapple slice they give you. Come by on the boat for a drink or stop by for a classy mixed drink but food, buyer beware.

The beer was good. The service was good. I think they have new televisions — it would be a good place to go watch a game. BUT… the food was lacking. we went for fish fry as we had been there twice before and had a really good experience. The menu seems to have changed. Which was fine, but they were out of perch and walleye. The cod and potato pancakes were pretty blah. It’s all you can eat but not worth the drive.

Discovered last year, returned this year for my annual family vacation.
First of all… have a bloody Mary. Trust me, you won’t be sorry! Spicy, Smirnoff, shrimp and of course a cheese curd. Simply divine.
The sweet potato fries are crinkle cut and crisped to perfection. The Caesar salad has poached eggs, good strips of Parmesan and nice chunky, garlicky croutons.
Hawaiian slider sampler is perfect, and surprisingly «accurate» as one slider is made of «pulled» spam.
Tomato mozzarella towers are good not great but the balsamic reduction is. Goat cheese quesadilla? Not your usual lakeside fare.
Any way, pay a visit, enjoy the great hospitality (beer back also included in $ 7 bloody Mary price), and the sunburnt holiday goers casting off in rented pontoons. :)

Great atmosphere and view of the lake. Food is excellent whether you have the fish fry, burger, etc. Big portions too!

I can’t imagine why this place doesn’t have a review yet! The view is fantastic, the service was very good, very nice. The food was wonderful. I had the orange roughy that was on special that night with fettucini with lemon & wine sauce. I was so full but I couldn’t stop eating. The fish was done to perfection. My boyfriend had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner, he loved it.
At first my complaint would have been the time to get dinner to the table. However, once you realize the cook, no Chef, is taking his time to prepare a perfectly cooked & plated meal… that complaint is out the window! Very nice atmostphere, full bar, great food… hits it out of the park for me. I’m moving to Wisconsin in a few months, this won’t be a regular because of distance, but it will surely be on the top of the list when I do want something truly good and different.
