Blue Flame Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar

I have been coming to Blue Flame since it opened and whenever i am back in Wenatchee. I love their 911 roll and spicy tuna roll. This is the only place i have found in East Wenatchee that makes the best mongolian beef ever. spiciness is just right and it’s my favorite dish to have here. Service is friendly but they seem very serious a lot of the times. It is a small Establishment and outside the valley mall but it is beautifully decorated inside and does have outdoor seating in the back of the building.

Delish! Had the calamari and crab wonton appetizers. And I had the black widow and my friend had the crazy horse. all very good and the presentation is delightful.

We love our local Asian restaurant! get there for daily happy hour before 5:30 for great prices on sushi and some appetizers. I’ve always received great food.

I had the seaweed salad and crab wontons. It was delicious. My lunch date had a couple rolls and loved them. Service was good.

My boyfriend and I come here every Tuesday, we both love sushi and Asian food and tried a few in town before here. All of which made me sick. So we finally tried here and I have no complaints. The food is always good and the waitress knows what we like to order every time. They’re never busy when we go in so it’s always a quiet spot to eat in peace. The food is always served with class and my sensitive stomach has never gotten sick from here unlike Iwa and Sumo. I recommend to everyone to try it.

The server was quick to take my order, but getting the food was slow (Monday @ 4pm not busy). When I did get the food it wasn’t what I had ordered. I ordered Shrimp Tempura & was served chicken tempura. I ordered Miso soup, it was never served. I ordered the Scorpion roll and when I was eating it I found shellfish shells (I’m assuming shrimp). No plans to return.

Good sushi, but I absolutely love the Terriyaki chicken. It has a lighter sauce. Now my favorite.

Good restaurant run by a nice family. We had the lettuce wraps, basil chicken, and crispy sesame chicken. Everything was delicious! The food tasted fresh and was well prepared. The place was clean and inviting. The staff was pleasant and attentive.

I’m new to the area and have been looking for good Asian food. Had a little bit of everything, pot stickers, Mongolian beef, and sushi. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back to try more dishes!

I love this restaurant! The food is fresh and the aptmosphere is comfortable! The service is very friendly. My favorite is the lemon grass chicken… yum…

We had an amazing dinner tonight at Blue Flame Asian Bistro in East Wenatchee. We tried three apps. Spring Rolls, Coconut Shrimp, and Fried Soft Shell Crabs. Delicious! My entrée was the Mu Shu Chicken, which I politely gobbled down after a lesson on adding Hoisin Sauce and rolling everything up in a Chinese Spring Pancake. Calvin, the restaurant owner and menu designer was kind enough to show me the ropes. Not only was I completely delighted with dinner but so was my wife and both of my sons. Each of them had something different. My five year old loved his Teriyaki Chicken, my ten year old devoured his Sweet and Sour Chicken before I got my first bite taken. My wife wasn’t very sharing when I tried to get a bite of her Orange Chicken! Normally I drink Sake when I visit, even after many visits Calvin’s wife Meilan always has a new one she wants to introduce me to. No room for dessert this time! On our last visit though, we had a Bananas Foster and I was craving it tonight after getting home. Oh well… I’m sure I’ll be back in there later this week!

If you want good Asian food — don’t bother. My wife and I ate there a couple weeks ago and get this, they ‘proudly’ served us a plate of completely burnt coconut shrimp. You can see from the picture that they don’t know how to use their fryer (the temp was way too hot or they left them in way too long). Until now I have never had a coconut encrusted shrimp I did not like. The sushi and service were both mediocre at best. The lemongrass chicken was ‘Ok’

Great place. We had the House Special Roll and the Volcano. Very tasty. Polite staff and clean fresh sushi.

This is the second time I have eaten here. Both were good and I will come back. I had a couple of custom rolls the first time and this time I had the fried calamari and the special Columbia Role. Tasty.
Nice little place. Friendly staff and responsive to needs.
Why not a 5 star? I do like my sushi and have some favorite restaurants back home, which have that little extra in flavor and environment. But as I stated above, when I come back in town, I will go here.

This place is great! The atmosphere is very calm and inviting. We had the caterpillar roll and the teriyaki chicken, both were excellent and we will definitely be returning and bringing friends!

Sushi was great! It had great flavor and the presentation was second to none. The only knock is the service. Although the people were very friendly they were pretty slow for not being very busy. I will definitely be dining here again!

Place is clean. food was excellent. went for lunch and had the classic fried rice– its the best in town. My husband had the teriyaki chicken he loved it but it was too sweet for me. very fresh tho. the service was slow, hope it improves because the food is worth the trip.

Good sushi spot! They also have noodle, meat and seafood dishes for those who aren’t sushi fans. I got salmon sashimi, their Asian chicken salad with sesame dressing and miso. The sashimi was fresh and the salad had lots of fresh greens and chicken. My uncle had the maki sushi roll combination (Cali, tuna and salmon roll). He said it was good but liked the tuna roll the best. My Grandma tried the chicken yakisoba, she really enjoyed it but felt their needed to be a bit more flavor. My grandpa had the Mongolian beef. He thought the meat was a little tough but he’d have the meal again because he liked the sauce so much. We also ordered fried rice to share. It was good but it was a little too greasy for my liking, grandma and grandpa loved it. After our meal, we all were satisfied and plan to return again! Great service and modern décor.
